I finally decided to register here. I have been on CR for many years, but I figured I would give this a shot. My name is Adam. I currently live in Pataskala, but I just moved here from southern Ohio (Portsmouth area). I have a 2002 VFR800, and a handful of four-wheeled vehicles of different types. I only have one pic of my bike right now: Previous to the VFR, I had a 1977 Honda GL1000 Goldwing which I bought looking like this: Over the period of about two years, ~$1000 later, and several bloody knuckles, it ended up looking like this: Thanks for letting me join I really want to meet some other VFR owners especially. I've been wanting to look at these. I doubt I will go with anything other than my LC9 for carry, but I have an XDm and I love it enough to give these a look. Cool gun.

This. I have daily driven my Si for six years now. It's a blast to drive and is easily my favorite DD ever. I know that if I turn the key, it will start. It's slow, but the handling is amazing. I KINDA want a newer car, but I just can't justify getting rid of the Si. Also, it's fucking retarded easy to work on.

Regardless of how the welds look, you are taking initiative and diving right in. Props to you for that. Cool car choice too.

I have an 86 and I can tell you that electrical problems seem to be the biggest problem, at least in my experience.

I LOVE listening to a built diesel stage to run. It gits muh giddy up!

I just had RoadRunner internet installed. I have the cable modem, but I need a wireless router so I can have WiFi. Time Warner said for an extra $5 a month, they would lease me one. I am a jobless ( :fa: ) cheap-ass at the moment, so I figured on just buying a good used one instead. Let me know what you have. Also, I will need the password that was set with it.

I have an '02 VFR. It's basically my daily driver if it isn't raining. This is an amazing bike to ride short distances, long distances, and through the twisties. It's nice and mild under 7K, and pulls like a bastard 7-12K (VTEC). I get a consistent 40-41MPG no matter how I ride. Whoever buys this is going to love it. Considering the mileage, that's a hell of a price for this one.

With proper knowledge and maintenance, yes. Pulling it out of the weeds, replacing spark plugs, and putting on a Greddy Type-S BOV doesn't last for long. :dumb: :dumb: .. ... .... ..... ...... ....... ........ ......... .......... :dumb:
