Yeah, Kevin is a pretty rare type of FD mechanic. He does a level of work that no shop can perform just because it would take too long. I'm certainly not downing any shop, but this is the guy that takes the time to go a few steps further.

^This is your best bit of advice in the entire thread. It's sad how many people are afraid to learn a new platform. Rotaries are incredibly simple engines and are easy to work on. I applaud someone who actually TRIED to go with a rotary (like Berto) before swapping, rather than someone who immediately swapped. The biggest majority of rotary engine failure is NOT the apex seals, but rather something like a fuel system malfunction, bad tuning, etc,. Engine topic aside, the FD is the most beautiful car I have ever owned. It does not look bad at any angle. The handling is amazing, the layout is perfect, and it is a car that will make you smile every time you walk out to the garage and see it. If you are a fat ass like myself, you will find it tight. If you plan to race it at all, check your helmet clearance. I doubt with a name like "Littleguy" that you have much to worry about. However, I cannot race mine. Good luck!

I have a full-size Bronco and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite vehicles of all time because of its versatility. Also, it's built like a damn tractor. There is nothing light duty on a Bronco. I had to pull my trans and transfer case in mine to replace the front seal recently. The trans case was easily 3 to 4 times the size of my Jeep's. Great vehicles! Good luck with the sale.

:lolguy: This is very true. Forced induction technology has improved so much even in just the past ten years. Though, I still miss the feeling of a large turbo spooling up.

I was at Iron Pony yesterday and the place was swarming (heh) with them.

It will be a while before I go fast again. Since the turbo is blown on the FD, I don't have the money right now to replace it. I'm jobless at the moment. Once I get a new turbo, it will be ready to go back together.

I don't see any choppers there.
