Check out this thread from the guys meeting at Iron Pony. Last year they buzzed down US-33 E. Send ZxHooligan a PM if you want to link up with them when they cruise by, unless you just want to meet us all in Logan. http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/104179-unofficial-ride-may-17-central-meet-and-ride-down/ Eat something before you leave home. We don't stop for meals. I always carry some beef jerky, trail mix, and Gatorade on the road. Some of us are dining together after the ride. Don't know where yet. All are welcome to join us. See you then. .

And as if it ever really mattered, I did find a parts list that shows a GSX1300RAL3 (2013) as having a "stay" for $12.33 USD. 44574-35F00 STAY $12.33 Details here. .

We're required by the rules of the forum to razz the shit out of anyone that doesn't cross all their t's and dot all their i's for the first two years. You are also required to give back as much crap as what is dished out to you. You found a home here among friends. .

It's way past time for a bloody revolution in this country. .

Here's another one. I had just fueled up. I saddled up and cruised off. I kept feeling something rubbing against my back. I stopped because I couldn't figure it out and it started bugging me. I discovered it was my tank bag sitting on top of my trunk bag. I always put it there when I fill up. I forgot to put it back on the tank. It's a good thing it didn't fall off. .

This is what you want. For fifty US dollars you can't beat it. The Basic Riders Course is what to sign up for. Some people take it every year just to brush up after those long Ohio winters. http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/basic_rider.stm Hope to see you somewhere on the road. .

I'll likely do a pre-ride ride before the event. I'll post a thread in case anyone would like to join me. Still deciding when. Don't have details yet. .

One hot summer day I pulled into a shady parking area for a little stretch. I carefully backed into a parking spot then enjoyed the cool shade while sending a few last minute texts. Finally I went to step off the bike and leaned it onto the kickstand, the one that wasn't down yet. Trying to right the bike while still sitting on it, with only one leg, while it continued it's slow descent, was just a bit more than I was prepared for. I gently laid it down, and quickly snatched it back up before anyone could see. There was a car parked a half dozen spaces away but the guy never noticed. I walked off as if it hadn't occured. . .

It won't let me post the parts diagram. The part number is the same for each item. .

Just a little feedback from a PM between me and another rider from last year. Perhaps a few adjustments should be considered. Me: How did you feel about the organization of the ride, when everything was getting started? Any suggestions or changes you would make? How did things go at the fuel stop? Was it a ball of confusion or a mass of congestion? Give me some feedback, if you don't mind. Not Me: There are a few things that were confusing. Maybe next time some signage at the meet point to get everyone grouped when they roll in. Fast, Med. etc. Our leader was great but almost got us going the wrong way. So maybe a map for each leader/sweep. We stopped right away after we started the ride for gas which didn't make sense as everyone was already filled up from the meet point. Then we rode the rest of the ride without a stop...you could tell the riders were getting fatigued. Doing a lot of stretching etc. So maybe adding an extra stop in there. There's time to review the after-ride comments from previous events in order to fine tune future events. It's seems a few things should be considered not just from this one person's viewpoint but from others that were posted as well, from last year and before. .

It's the “fastest mouse in all Mexico" on a 'busa. Welcome to the mad house where the lunatics have taken over the asylum. . -
That is if they see the bike. Until it gets warmer, they are not expecting to see a bike and therefore are not looking for it. So, be extra careful because if they happen to see you, it's not because they were trying to. .

Second season of riding and don't know any riders.
JackFlash replied to Ryan79's topic in Introductions
Welcome to the group. We're going on a big ride. There were in the neighborhood of 70 bikes from all over the state and some from Michigan and Indiana on the ride last May. Here's the info: http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/103963-unofficial-spring-2014-epic-ride-may-17th/ If you want to ride down with the NE Ohio guys, here's where you can find their info: http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/104431-epic-ride-may-17th-ne-ohio-meetup-and-ride-down/ Get in the slow group, at least for this year, for your own safety. See you there. . -
You will continue to be as much a part of the OhioRiders community as you have always been. Being bikeless is simply a passing phase. You'll hunger for the pleasure of riding on two wheels and become consumed by it until once again you'll find a ride you can't say no to. .

It's now officially confirmed that a bunch of hungry riders will eat absolutely anything that doesn't bite back. Pardon the well toasted (crusty) hotdogs. I think we went through four or five packs of dogs and buns, minus the two or three buns left in the bag that little beagle grabbed and ran off with. I cook much better than the micro-grill would permit. I would be pleased to do this again, and with some assistance and support, could easily kick it up a notch to the enjoyment of all. .

Looking for carb help on a 2000+ GS500F - Cleveland
JackFlash replied to BMMW's topic in Tech and Tips
I have the HAYNES SERVICE AND REPAIR MANUAL for this bike. I'm willing to type verbatim straight from the manual to help you out. It's written in the UK. Pardon the spellings. The fuel system consists of the fuel tank, the main fuel cock and filter, the fuel tap, the carburettors, fuel hoses and control cables. The main fuel cock mounted on the underside of the fuel tank incorporates a filter which sits inside the tank. The remote fuel tap is of the vacuum type. Let me know if you need info. I'll be in and out all day and available tomorrow. PM me for Phone number if you want details researched. .
