  1. Two of those kids were also ejected....aka no seat belt. Makes you wonder if they had a seat belt what would have happened.
  2. He will be only 55 yrs. old in March.
  3. Slomo quoted me $600 for a 3" header back including a muffler. So I would assume it would be somewhere in the $400 range for 2.5" with no muffler but you would have to add in for the downpipe.
  4. Got some more news. Apparently, it is called peritoneal cancer. It is a form of mesothelioma. We should find out this coming week if it is primary or median and how far it has spread.
  5. Thanks for all the well wishes. I knew that this was a hard situation but, always having watched people go through it I never realized how hard it was. Stupid stuff is setting me off and any alone time I can't help but break down. The only thing I am thankful of so far is the strength to keep it together in front of him. Somehow we have both known since New Year's Eve. We went for a ride to Dublin to get some medicine and talked for awhile. He mentioned "the c word" but never would come out and say the whole world. He also talked about how he hoped he could make it through. It just makes it so much more real when the doctors confirm it.
  6. I may take you up on this. I need to let everything sink in. Looks like they are moving to Cleveland to be closer to the clinic so I will need to keep busy when they arent around.
  7. So this year, we celebrated Christmas on New Year's Eve. My brother is a rookie cop and he wasn't able to get back to the area until then. My Dad has been having lots of stomach issues recently. So on Thursday the 30th he goes in for a colonoscopy. Results are due back Monday. Friday the hospital calls and he missed it as he was making everyone breakfast. They call again and it is only 10 am. He answers and they want him in on Monday for a CAT scan. He goes in and they say there is a cyst on his liver and they want to do a biopsy. He goes in Monday and they try to do a biopsy. Turns out it is a solid mass and not a cyst and it is not actually on his liver. So they go back in today. Doctor says they are certain it is cancer. We get final results and a sample back on Monday and he heads to Cleveland clinic on Tuesday. Mom hasn't told me what kind of cancer it is but, supposedly it is all over the diaphragm and the lining that holds all your guts. There are lumps all over the place. Mom and Dad were up all last night researching and the prognosis that most people get is 6 months. Apparently, it is very aggressive. We will find out more next week.
  8. The oval rarely sees speeds over 99mph if that gives you any idea of it's condition.
  9. I have a block tester. If you would like to borrow it you are more then welcome but, I am out in Marysville. It is a simple bottle with a rubber squeeze ball. You place some liquid in the bottle and place it over your open radiator. You use the ball to draw gases through the liquid. The blue liquid turns yellow if there is hydrocarbons in the steam from the radiator. (Gas being pushed past the gasket into the cooling system.)
  10. TireRack has 17 rims starting at $59 each. 1. Keep the tires. 2. Sell the wheels to some wannabe kid on CL. 3. Buy new Rims.
  11. $177.35 rockauto.com has it for $57.89 from Standard Motor Products or $116.79 from Delphi
  12. No it is Common Sense. Problem is not many people have Common Sense anymore. Everyday the world as a whole gets stupider and blames it on someone else.
  13. I would say early to mid 90's civic hatches, 2nd gen crx and 2nd gen integras. The big thing now is to shove a k series or j series motor into one. The j series requires a hoodless car though. The k series are making a lot more power NA then the b series. I am still a b series fan though. When this one pops I plan on bore/stroke and sleeve and do it all again. Maybe after that I will think about a k series.
  14. I agree. Saw him on Price is Right last week and I was startled. Amazing how he can look so much worse then Bob Barker.

    WTF AEP???

DP&L did the same thing to me. Their policy is a call ahead 2 days in advance and to knock on the doors of everyone affected the day off. Neither was done for me or my 2 neighbors. I feel you on the inconvenience especially since the combination of noise and freezing my balls off woke me up 3 hours after i went to sleep from working a 17 hr shift. Had I been warned I would have slept at my parents. I ended up losing a couple fish due to the extreme drop in temperature in the house.
  16. My choices will probably get many laughs from those on here but my dreams are: 1. Honda Powered Mini B-Series AWD would be my choice. When I get bored add a super/turbo charger. 2. AWD Integra Using a drivetrain from a CRV Both have a large aftermarket support as every ricer has one (driveline) and they are collectors (mini body). AWD is my next dream toy as I have had FWD and RWD. Gas mileage and power can be had from both and both are "sleepers".
  17. I vote #3 out of those options. The kitchen, dining and living area appear and probably would feel bigger despite the whole thing filling the same area. The angled area and 7' area with closet seem wasted/useless.
  18. http://www.peavey.com/assets/literature/manuals/80300962.pdf Says it is a guitar mixer/amp
  19. Try SpaceGhost. Don't know if he is buying his back or not.

  21. Applied to work as a volunteer. Free Glass, Free Shirt, Free Dinner, FREE LIBATIONS.
  22. Checked AllDataPro. If it is similar to the 2009 Sedan it should be no big deal to do an outer. Socket to take nut off and a hammer or hammer and pickle fork to take to loose from the knuckle then wrenches to separate inner and outer. If it is the inner, which I also would suspect, it will probably need an inner tie rod tool. Hit me up if you want to borrow one.
