  1. Minnesota for Back to the 50's. Nothing newer then 1964 allowed. Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit. Probably a trip to Cinncinatti.
  2. GMPartsDirect.com GM PART # 12570260 CATEGORY: Computer Control Sensors PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00 GM LIST: $626.89 OUR PRICE: $371.61 Still not cheap but better then $600. Check junkyards for one that someone rolled or plowed a tree.
  3. It is getting very expensive to get caught doing that. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/la-me-vegoil6-2008may06,0,1350934.story There are stories like that all over the internet. Everything from road tax, fines, licensing fees, etc. makes it to expensive. I was reading another article about an IL. man that got fined and the paper said that Bio-Diesel is illegal in one state.
  4. I do not see why it would label her as fat. It says she is 4'9" and 6 stone (1 stone = 14 lbs) or 84 lbs. That results in a BMI of 18.2 or underweight? I'm all for brutally honest games if the are honest and not just brutal. Tell the fat kid shes fat and have her play the Fit game but, don't make more anorexic/bulemic girls please. They get older and grosser as time goes on.
  5. Because the lady in the article bought a Metro for $7300 to replace her Element. "For the most part, Solomon plans on using the car for commuting from her home in Rochester, Washington, to her job. The vehicle she has now, a Honda Element, was getting 28 mpg and she was filling up twice a week, costing her nearly $100. Stations were charging $3.97 a gallon in her area Tuesday, she said. "
  6. I know it is a given on any car to put the pushrods back where you took them out but, definatly make sure you do it with this motor. The exhaust and intake are 2 different lengths. Always fun when the new guy in the shop gets one and doesn't put them back in the same location. 7hrs. book time (intake not heads) turns into a week of waiting to get valves and heads back from the machine shop and getting it all back together. Would definatly suck to have to do heads twice.
  7. It's amazing how many double standards there are on the board regarding posts. Nothing against Dark Formula but it is just the most recent incident. He asked about a babysitter and Space Ghost and myself added a humorous response. All of a sudden they are deleted and everyone is told to keep it constructive. All day long peoples "I need help" threads are trashed. A while back Boosted98GST posted a thread that aparently had something to do with street racing. I did not get to read it before it was changed to "We don't talk about that here" by an admin. Yet I can click new posts any day of the week and at least find a story with a few at-a-boy comments if not find videos of said event. Everyone know's every newbie gets challanged to street racing and we are told to meet at QSL if we think we are fast enough to join the street race. I guess I have never been part of the in crowd and this stuff just gets old and makes me happy I am not part of it. I like reading Antwon's kill stories as much as Shanton's, as much as Linn's, as much as Boosted98GST's stories. If we can post/read one why can't we post/read them all? If someone can get ribbed a little bit about not knowing how to fix something or where to get certain help why can't the next guy? Go ahead flame away, move to the kitchen, delete the whole thread, etc. I obviously haven't swung from enough nuts to have an opinion nor will I ever.
  8. No you got a Mitsubitchy.
  9. I would recommend this method. This car requires metric bubble flares with std. thread fittings. They are a pain in the ass to find. Go get a double flare tool, 2 fittings, 2 unions, and a small piece of brake line. It will be fixed right and it will be safe.
  10. Pics? What are you interested in for trades?
  11. There is a better version with an english translator somewhere. What happened was the Porsche driver and the VW driver switched cars when they said they were ding a driver switch off cam. The VW driver is the one that actually originally started fleeing the cops in the Porsche. Why they would trade their VW for a wrecked Porsche with cops chasing it and then flee who knows?
  12. I would like to do another one as well. Seems like it sold out pretty fast and had a great turn out.
  13. http://www.killacycle.com/2007/09/13/im-fine-scapes-and-cuts-bike-is-a-little-bent/ Here he says he only had a few scrapes and cuts.
  14. That is my boss's car (pics 17 and 18). Took 2nd in his class and 3rd overall.
  15. That is for a friction blister not a burn.
  16. You work at NTB and they won't let you mount a set of tires? Sounds like your boss is an :asshole:
  17. Drive a Chevette and get loans. It works. Been there done that.
  18. I love how if there is an accident on private property they won't do a thing about it but, if they can make a buck they'll pull right in there and right you a ticket for anything they can. I was working in a shop and a drunk came flying across the lot and plowed a customer's car and they wouldn't even come take a report. A couple weeks later one of the guy's is roasting his tires off and gets hit with a ticket. Makes sense to me.
  19. http://www.bmv.ohio.gov/pdf_forms/HSY-7607.pdf Page 55 is the only thing that I can find about turn lanes in the driver's training book. I would agree that 100-150ft is a good distance for entering that lane. I am not sure that you can determine a distance from "immediatly prior". It seems rather subjective.
  20. I think he means no "cash and trades" as in no trades in any way shape or form even if they include cash.
  21. 99FLHRCI

    1999 Cobra

It has been tuned. I will ask him this afternon what kind of power it made. I do not believe he has gotten many offers and that is why he lowered the price.
  22. I must be as white trash as they come. Mine are still up....from 2 yrs ago.
  23. I'm in. When and Where?
