  1. Now, here's the kicker and the ONLY thing you need to know. He was told they would come clean and when they didn't, the seller (Zane) offered to refund his money for a product that did not meet the quality that was promised. That's the only thing that matters! Man made promise, man broke promise and couldn't even be a man about it.

  2. I don't think location is the biggest decision. However, I do look at the surronding area if I am leaving my car overnight. The location you have now is not bad but, if I stopped in and it was located in the Hilltop, I would not do anything that required the vehicle being there overnight. As far as being hard to get to, I don't think it is as much of an issue as it used to be. I would have driven right past your current location but, I looked it up on Google maps and saw the satellite image. Made it real quick and easy to find even without a large sign out front. I think as long as the shop doesn't make you worry about theft, then the next priority is size/quality of workspace.

  4. I think he should make them read it too, just like everybody else kinda had to when we grew up. Then when they mature they can make their own decisions in life not solely based off heaven-good hell-bad, but ways to live your life through helping others in this selfish materialistic world. Kids (and most adults) could maybe learn something and build upon those values with whatever other religion they so choose to follow later on.

there is enough stuff not being taught with out adding something else to be taught. I don't think he should have to "hide" the bible but, I do think that it should not be taught/read in a public school. I would even say that I think there should be allowed an afterschool club for bible study or whatever. I would strongly object to it taking up time in a curriculum though. We need to teach more history and english before the bible. When I was in school (graduated 2001) our history class made it to the Revolutionary war. Yea American History and we ended at the Revolutionary War. Fucking brilliant. I also had a friend who graduated with a high school degree and could not read a menu. We literally went out to dinner and my parents invited him along. We are sitting at the table and he has his menu upside down and then he duplicated my dad's order (who had ordered just before him). Before we teach any religion in school we need to teach the basics.

  5. It's just a political move to gain some popularity, that will never pass. The .gov would lose way too much money to allow it. Besides, the gas tax is whats suppose to be used to keep our roads nice and smooth. Is slightly cheaper gas worth the extra potholes bending wheels and breaking suspension parts?

  6. ^^ Types/Researches faster then me

Be warned, we will all have to claim this as income on our 2008 taxes...It is not free money, just and advance on our 2008 income tax refund. If you normally don't get a refund or don't get a refund in the amount you are getting for your rebate, hold on to it because you are going to have to pay it back next year.

This is not true. I have heard it alot but, the IRS says it is not true.

"Q. Is my Stimulus Payment taxable?

    A. No. You will not owe tax on your payment when you file your 2008 federal income tax return. But you should keep a copy of the IRS letter you receive later this year listing the amount of your payment."

  7. hiding in the splits.

Police in Ohio don't hide. Try Indiana where Linn's car with some lights behind the grill and on the sunvisor might pull you over. Try Michigan where Sam's TB would pull out from the trees along the freeway or from behind the bridge and write you up. I was thankful to come here and have it so much easier. I will take fully visible and marked cars in quantity over slick top or hidden cars here and there any day of the week. (Also makes it harder for impersonators to exist. BIG problem when I lived in Michigan was rapist, car jackers, kidnappers, etc. pulling people over. Got bad enough the cops told everyone to slow down and use blinkers till they got to the next gas station instead of pulling over.)

  8. no foor door no care.

If you click the truck it goes to another article and it says:

"I was just advised that by 2010 we'll have a diesel hybrid pickup (for sale in the US market). It will be available for the two-door and four-door pickups, and the SUV," says Mr. Perez. "Nobody is going to have a truck close to this."

    :)

  9. now not all top brands are high dollar you can get some for rather cheap say 200 for a 600 watt but if you bridged it it would be 1200 which is were you need to be to get the most out of your sub. you always want to get an amp as close to the peak power of your sub without going over.

I wouldn't worry so much about hitting that 1200w mark. I would be more concerned with RMS. Stick to somewhere around 250w RMS. It's kinda like a motor. If your max power is 1200hp but you only make that for 50rpm it is useless. RMS is what the amp will constantly operate at. Keep it less then what the sub says. Just like a motor, don't run it on the ragged edge unless you only need it for 1 race. I have 2 Sony Xplod speakers and a 2400w Volfenhaug amp. Both cheap products but, paired together they make a good amount of thump. The speakers handle 380w RMS and the amp puts out 280w RMS. I had some Solo-Baric Compitition 12's and a JBL amp. They pounded hard as hell....for a couple months. Now I have one kick @$$ amp, a paper weight and a speaker with a voice coil barely clinging to the cone. Worthless.

Cliff Notes: Get a decent name brand and pay attention to your RMS not peak watts.

  10. If you want to boost it, you could invest in the Hondata setup and a tune. That would maximize what you have now and save you money (or prespend depending how you want to look at it) for when you boost it.
  11. What are you going to use to tune it? Apexi Neo, Hondata, Chrome, ....? Are you planning on getting it dyno-tuned or using your butt dyno? What are you hoping to achieve with a tune? (A few horsepower, economy, etc?) Honestly, I personally would recommend using the money towards something else. I spent $225 to get my car dynotuned. That could easily fund a few small mods or one decent mod that may get the same or more power. I had larger injectors, a digital ignition, a pressure regulator, and a Neo. Getting it dyno tuned served 2 purposes. It tuned out my oversize injectors (supporting mod for future plans) and it netted me an additional 10hp.
  12. You are completely missing the point. Just because something is possible to obtain illegally, does not make it logical to insist that it be legalized. You are basically saying that no laws should ever be passed, and no enforcement should ever be attempted against anyone at any time, and it is the individual's responsibility to protect themselves from a particular threat.

No you are missing the point. You said that outlaws are getting their guns from legal owners so, if you outlaw them they will eventually disappear. We are saying if there is no longer any legal owners to take those guns from they will some place else to get them. The only thing you do by outlawing them is take them away from the people willing to obey the law.

  13. That's it? That's the best argument you all have? Heron(sic)? God have mercy on us. Do you people realize that guns don't, in fact, grow on trees in tropical climates?

OK? So since they don't grow on trees there is no black market with weapons that could be smuggled into the states? I know people that walk back across the border with stillettos and switch blades. Both did not grow on trees, both are illegal in the US. Just as easy to pack a small gun and walk back across. That isn't even a professional doing it for mass profit. Alcohol was illegal and it was smuggled/produced everywhere. If you think no one would smuggle or produce firearms if they were outlawed maybe you should lay off the stuff growing on trees in tropical climates.

  14. If you picture the cylinder from the side, the area cut off would create a right triangle with side b being 236", angle A being 28.75 and angle C being 90. Using the calculator below:

    http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/calrtri.htm

You can get side c as being 269". Now you know the ellipse has a minor axis of 236" and a major axis of 269". Using the calculator below:

    http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/callipse.htm

You come to the conclusion that the area of the resulting ellipse is 49,900 sq. in.

Hope this helps. I do not remember all of the formulas to do this but I once had a teacher that made sure to point out that a smart man doesn't have all the answers he just knows where to find them.
