  1. Ok. here's a thought then. How about if you want to buy a gun, you need to take a class on it first?
  2. So let me get this straight, you're against guns and want to ban them but you have no problem with them in peoples home for defense...
  3. So you're not completely against the american population having guns as You have previously claimed you have.
  4. But what if he's creepy and gross. I wouldnt want that. see above http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?p=941466#post941466
  5. except that would probably lead to something else that I wouldnt want to happen.
  6. You still never answered my question about how am I supposed to protect myself without a gun.
  7. Yeah, I wish I was but I needed a 2nd job to get by.
  8. I don't because I have to help them at the mall and it's annoying. I want to close the shop at 10 when we close and not at 10:15 when I should be heading home!
  9. And THAT right there is how people NEED to be raised.
  10. Thank you. Hence why yes I do have one gun.
  11. exactly. And then there is someone like me. I don't have a family. I'm a 5'3" 150lbs girl who lives by herself. Yes, my doors stay closed and locked at all times. But if by chance I get 3 guys who come into my house with knives or baseball bats, How do you expect me to defend myself?

  13. A LITTLE GUN HISTORY In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. >From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total... of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million. You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson. With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are 'subjects'. During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED! If you value your freedom, please spread this antigun-control message to all of your friends. SWITZERLAND ISSUES EVERY HOUSEHOLD A GUN! SWITZERLAND'S GOVERNMENT TRAINS EVERY ADULT THEY ISSUE A RIFLE. SWITZERLAND HAS THE LOWEST GUN RELATED CRIME RATE OF ANY CIVILIZED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!! IT'S A NO BRAINER! DON'T LET OUR GOVERNMENT WASTE MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS IN AN EFFORT TO MAKE ALL LAW ABIDING CITIZENS AN EASY TARGET. Spread the word everywhere you can that you are a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment! It's time to speak loud before they try to silence and disarm us. You're not imagining it, history shows that governments always manipulate tragedies to attempt to disarm the people ~ Conservatives ClubSee More
  14. Which is what saddens me the most about America today. So many people are so close-minded that no problem can ever be truely solved. It's part of the saying "Take a step back and look at the big picture." Open you're eyes and open your mind, and the world will be such a better place.
  15. seriously? You are saying that your actions cannot directly injure or kill them? Ah yeah they can. You might not be able to hit and take out a car, but your ACTIONS and DESICIONS can still directly affect how they drive and react. Kinda like reacting to a deer in the middle of the road. That can still injure or hurt them.
  16. In that situtation they probably could have handled the car fine, if you hadnt cut them off. But my point is Yes you yourself is at risk, but just because they have a steel cage, doesnt mean they arent at risk too. That steel cage doesnt prevent from getting injured or killed.
  17. How in anyway are you JUST risking YOUR life? ok scenerio - On the highway, You cut in front of someone on your bike and the person in front of you brakes hard, so you brake hard as well, and so does the person behind. Well you squeezed in such a tight spot that you hit the person in front of you and the person behind you hits you and that car so hard at such a high speed, that he spins off the road, rolls the car and guess what dies. That's risking his life as well not just your own. Just because he's in a steel cage and you're not doesnt mean he's gonna survive too.
  18. No I really dont think at all that it will make tragedies occur less often at all or make any of them less deadly. How can you say that? If he used a bomb, instead of a gun, it probably wouldve been a lot worse!
  19. OMG seriously? That right there is like saying no one in a steel cage has ever gotten hurt or killed in a crash.
  20. My point is, there are other way to kill people other than just guns. So how does banning guns solve the problem, when I can turn around and use a bomb or gas instead.
  21. Ok then in that case, why dont we ban anything that can be used to create a bomb!
  22. Not so much way too much free time as for the need for attention. Society craves attention and its now at the point where people are doing severe things to get that attention. And the more attention those people who do those severe things like shooting up a school or whatever, the more others want that same attention. When it all comes down to it, blame the media and blame society for giving these people the attention they do not deserve!
