  1. eh, my motorcycle club is OR, i dont know about you guys.. i ride as i please and who ever wants to go out that day, perfect life right?
  2. well i got my kids to bed last night and went straight out to the garage. got the frame and random parts back from powder coat. painted what i couldnt get powered. started to assemble the ass end. this is as far as i got. tonight ill get the front back together and get her standing on her own again.
  3. rear wheel is dirty only because i failed to wipe off the extra chain lube before i took it out on sunday. rear brakes and tire are new. new turn signals all the way around
  4. Last bump before it goes for free on CL.
  5. just testing the waters, i want to put my wife back on a 250, or a honda shadow. looking for an even swap. mine needs both side fairings and the tabs on the meters are broken.. ill get some pictures up. but im not looking for a shiny bike either.. just something she can comfortably touch the ground. even with 3" lowering links on it she can still barely touch.
  6. josh if oyu go out tomorrow let me know, ill see if my wife will let me free for an hour or 2
  7. Rode my cbr for about two hours just cruising, making sure all was kosher with it. You can still see all the salt dust on the roads so I played nicely..
  8. not to belabor your point, BUT.... your forgetting that though the car and trailor may indeed weigh around 6000lbs if not more or slightly less, the rolling resistance is only very minimal. for example, lets say you have just a car that weighs 3500lbs on a paved road and all 4 tires are aired up, it would only take about 245 lbs of pressure to move it. sorry im not trying to be rude, i promise.
  9. chuck e cheese. i think i have more fun there then my kids do.
  10. I have twins the age of two (boy and girl) and a step son the age of 1. (Long story). But I love being a father. There is not a better feeling then riding home on a bike and walking in the door to all your kids rushing to you for hugs and kisses. It's awesome. I just need some time to catch up on some sleep occasionally.
  11. Haha yea, I'm married... Plus I'm not willing to spend 500 on a new set yet. She hasn't dumped it yet. But she hasn't ride it much either. So ill wait till she dumps and wrecks the rest of them.
  12. So I took my wife's cbr out for a ride about an hour or so ago, get 100 feet down the road and woosh! There goes my left fairing. Split second later woosh! There goes my right fairing! While only doing about 50mph. Both busted off and left the tabs on the bike. I knew when we picked that bike up about 6 months ago it had cheap Chinese plastics. But I never expected them to just break off. Oh well, I already ride my street fighter zx6r so my wife will just have to deal with it. It's doesn't look horrible, but her being a woman it's not "pretty anymore". Oh well. Just watch your plastics gentlemen and ladies.
  13. How many cruisers coming? If there are a couple cruisers my dad will go.
  14. i would have probably done the exact same thing. without the camcorder. just a simple picture of his face would have been suffice for me.
  15. could you possibly reserve me a small, pref. or a medium if no smalls?
  16. but no longer available. thanks matt

    Old dog

rough times man. someone in the beginning of this thread said the perfect words. "she'll tell you when its time, its their will to live" love your dog and wait for her to tell you. though its rough on her and your emotional state, when shes done needing your attention and love, she'll let you know. just think of it as a person, when a person gets older and starts having problems, they enjoy what they can because they know their time is soon. let her enjoy it.
  18. are they made? did i skip over them and not see them somewhere on the site? dumbass, am i?
  19. im in. i can gather with the riders from my area and meet up with your group doc.
