  1. Pretty much leaves ASK, Honda Marysville, and Hoblick in the Central Ohio area. I recommend shooting Hoblick a PM and let him know what you want done.
  2. Does that mean you also got the Coke and hookers?
  3. I don't really care for them either, but they seem to work well. Here is another option: http://www.ldcomfort.com/ I sometimes also where running shorts under my mesh pants, but I won't on a 1000 mile day.
  4. Bicycle shorts under mesh pants work well for long rides in the summer.
  5. Thanks for your service. Welcome to OR.

    Cigar pro's?

Leave it wrapped up, and throw it in the freezer.
  7. The pilot roads and angels are all good tires. However, it would be epic to see a GS500 that went to the dark side.
  8. That would be good for at least one speeding ticket per state.
  9. Apparently the dinosaurs destroyed creation.
  10. I wanted the Baldin GT. I found a used Russell Day-Long on the COG Forum from somebody that was my size. I really enjoy it compared to the stock saddle. Both the Russell and Baldwin are very nice. Laam also makes a good seat for the C14. I think Tim has the UltraDome, and it is a nice shield. I have the Cal-Sci Large, and I have no complaints. With 300 miles on the bike, you have probably figured out that doing the speed limit can be difficult at times.
  11. I am not sure about crash damage. Of the stealerships, I would trust Iron Pony the most. I live in Pataskala, and I grew up in Reynoldsburg. I may have been down Taylor a few thousand times. After you get the bike fixed, we can meet up for a ride. I can show you how to farkle that bike up.
  12. Take it to Iron Pony and have them look at it. They seem to be the most trust worthy in Central OH. Congrats on the new C14. You will love the bike. Welcome to OR.
  13. Is that the same Velcro that came with the transponder?
  14. That was my first organized group ride. All of my other rides had been 4 or less riders. (I have been riding for 20+ years, I just never ride in a group).
  15. Got bigger micro sd card in the phone, and I am increasing the music on my phone for upcoming motorcycle trips. I got the EZ Pass in the mail, so I am ready to go. I will probably zip tie my EZ Pass to my clutch reservoir or the back side of my ram-mount GPS holder. It seems like there would give a better signal than in a tank bag. Once in Chamberlain SD, I will remove the transponder from the bike to prevent theft. Can anyone think of a better way to handle the EZPass? After this trip, I am not sure when it will be used again, so I am not looking for a permanent mount.
  16. Sorry about your luck. Then again, hypocrites can be entertaining. Ask Jesse Jackson.
  17. Wow. I would ride any motorcycle that is free. It may not be my daily ride, but I am definitely down for riding free motorcycles.
  18. I always recommend the MSF courses and Twist of the Wrist 2 to beginner riders. It will give them the necessary information. Then it is up to the beginner rider to take that info and practice.
  19. The zippers are such a pain, that I switched to putting frog toggs under my mesh suit. I do have a rain sit that will go over my mesh suit, and that is what I am probably going to bring. It can be put on in the rain way more quickly when the rain hits.
  20. I have the Sliders mesh jacket and Tourmaster air venture pants. The Tour master pants have about the same build quality as the Sliders jacket. I have had zipper and liner issues with both. Someday, I may spring for an Aerostitch suit.
  21. Welcome to OR! Nice bike. Looks like it is set up for some long distance twisty road fun!
  22. That's my plan also. Not sure if I want to bring my rain suit or rain liners. The rain liners on my mesh suit take longer to put on than throwing a rain suit over my mesh suit.
