If it does go into effect, it will be interesting to see how long until the aftermarket finds a way to disable them.

But how long has the 'wing gone without a substantial update?

Not including the recent minor update: too long. I am sure they will right the ship. Someday, I will add a Wing to my future stable.

I unfortunately agree. My last 3 bikes were Hondas. They all had a really good track record for reliability. For my last bike purchase, it came between a Yamaha and a Kawasaki for a sport-touring bike (BMW K1600GT was out of my price range for a 2nd bike). Now even the Goldwing is getting beaten by the BMW K1600GTL. I never thought anyone would best the Wing in the luxury touring segment.

I wish they would have used that 1200 motor to create a better sport-touring bike. I know they sell hard bags for the vfr1200, but it is not as comfortable as the st1300. The st1300 is old, and Honda has relinquished the sport-touring segment.

They don't need a $500 deposit to run your credit, but they won't do it if you can't be bothered to come tot the shop (cost them money to run your credit).

Personally, I would keep the 900rr and $3k over the ZX10 any day of the week.

Take your time and save some money. It is not always wise to finance depreciating assets. IMHO, the 900rr could do the job well for a while longer.

Why not let the consumer decide if they want it or not? I won't own another motorcycle without ABS, but I dont think it should be mandated on all motorcycles.

Interesting. Freakonomics also had an interesting take on the gun control issue.

The downside of riding in the winter in Ohio is the road salt dust that accumulates on the bike. I like to ride, even in the winter, but I will not clean the bike in these temperatures.
