Mid-O next Mon/Tues. Both days have rain possible, what day are you going? Can't decide which day to go. Mon: 76F 50% scattered rain but sunny Tues: 74F 40% rain but cloudy (changes daily from 20-40%) Leaning tuesday i think. Called and there are 20 spots left in 'I' for monday. I'll be making the call sunday.

Oil change and swap out coolant for water wetter. Will be changing tires tomorrow. Get to try out my new no-mar setup. And also sacrificing many small animals to the one and only true god Cthulhu for no more rain and warm weather for all future track days.

Went to OECR for the first time. Also first ride on the new bike. Completed two laps and really enjoy the Norco.

Really want to but i'll be getting on a big boat headed for the Caribbean.

Haven't done this years yet but the past several years both wife and I claim zero on everything and I pay an extra $75 per paycheck. Last year we about broke even. Expecting the same this year. We have nothing to itemize except mortgage insurance and no kids. The higher standard deduction should help us out this year but we will see.

Went through the calendar on the Mid-O site. Subject to change. Glad the appreciation day isn't in October this year.

Went to flip the stem on the dirt jumper and the cap bolt just spun. Stripped from factory. So instead of going to Rays on thursday, I had to drill out the old bolt and take the entire front end off the bike. Good news is that a new star nut was only $2. Most likely hitting up Rays tomorrow night.

Mid-O would be a great place to start as a new rider. They are structured the entire day now and teach a lot. I've only been to Pitt (N2) once i think three years ago. It was still just the small track. But N2 novice was wide open. There were no groups, the CRs would help people if they asked but it was still not structured. Passing was allowed on straights. There was only one morning class and one after lunch. They briefly covered body positioning, apex, braking, etc. I rather enjoyed it cause I had been to Nelsons and Mid-O for a couple years. But if it was my first time on the track, i would have been terrified. My first couple track days were at Nelsons with Motoseries. The very first day i crashed during the open afternoon sessions. I rode off the track at T4 and went down in the grass. I was fine but defiantly riding above my ability. I couldn't imagine if they just let us all go in the morning. I've been trying to get back to Pitt for awhile now but my shoulder injury sidelined me all last year and my vacation is already screwing up May this year.

Got the bike finished and took it out for the first time tonight at Ray's. Overall it rode great. Wish the frame was about 1" longer to keep my knees away from the stem. But not that bad. Probably heading back out to Ray's again next Thursday.

Sigh.......USPS packages supposed to be delivered yesterday turned into "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." Last known location for both was a few days ago in FL. Really wanted to get this thing buttoned up to go ride Thursday.

Bought a Haro Steel Reserve 1.2. Added front brake. New grips, pedals and seat arrive today. Most likely hitting up Ray's on Thursday.

Went to Ray's for the first time on Thursday. I'm hooked! Now i need to get a another bike for there!

Also found this one. Prob a better one for me.

Yay or nay? I'd have to ride it. A medium may be too small, i'm right at the cutoff between sizes.
