  1. Really depends on how far you want to go obviously, but getting them down around 3000 isn't bad. Obviously people take them much further but IMHO you'd start spending money.
  2. LOL, so that was you looking at that today? They brought it to me because they thought they heard a noise. At least you'd know someone to take care of you at the dealership. The higher mileage turbo 2.3s we see have VVT issues, and we've done our share of turbos. A lot of it is lack of maintence, and they've updated the VVT parts so hopefully that won't be a concern as the newer ones get some mileage.
  3. Just ask Tina why she got rid of their manual Mustang and went back to an f-body. The thing locked her out of gear all the time, she never got a clean pass at the track. Cars are shitty, so I'm gonna suggest an insurance fire.
  4. Wish I had the cash, it is a good deal. I've riden it and it is fast enough for most people to be fun, and still gets good MPGs.
  5. I give you the Camaro, you give me the bike and $8k. Deal?
  6. Well let me answer your comment with this.
  7. I really enjoy all of Satriani's work, here's a good example.
  8. Of all the stuff Gorillaz does this is my favorite.
  9. I really like Lindsey Stirling and her take on the violin.
  10. Pretty cool. Used Kitt dash LOL. Bet thats an easy part to find.
  11. Okay Rhett has plenty of possible sales, closing thread.
  12. Maybe an Escape or something. It has no frame, some unibody SUV, but that rear suspension looks a lot like Subaru.
  13. So you seem stuck on Hondas and Toyotas. Have you considered my favorite Japanese brand, Mazda? The cars feel sportier then Hondas and Toyotas (and I don't just mean Miatas), and I just enjoy the look and feel of the 3 and 6 much better. If you want cheap the Protege hasn't been made in a while but if you can find one in decent shape (as in little rust and decently cared for) these cars were bulletproof.
  14. Looks kind of like an IROC rim, though I don't remember the center caps. Good thing for you they fit most 80's and early 90s RWD GM with a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. 2wd S10s obviously, G-bodies (Monte Carlos, Cutlass, Grand Prix, 78-88), and yes 3rd gen f-bodies. I'm sure there are plenty of others but you get the idea. Hope this helps, if I still had something these would fit I'd be interested, a little TLC and they'd look right at home on the cars I mentioned.
  15. This will likely come off like I'm an asshole and I'm sorry. Why are you so dead set on messing with this thing? It doesn't look like anything special, it's a factory serp setup, and a crappy TBI. If you want to make more power lots of things are going to hold you back, like the TBI, or the fact that it's an underpowered 305. For the amount of effort if you want any real power gains get at least a 350, your shit will all bolt up, but do something other then that weak ass TBI. Trust me you'll be happier, the way it sits I'd be shocked if it dyno'd over 200, why not make a solid 300+? Okay I'm done ranting, carry on.
  16. I'm sure Doc would have some good suggestions on the bike if it's not too far gone. I'm glad you want to get back out there but damn man you just got hit by a car.
  17. It has been my experience that most A/C systems typically are either inproperly charged or have a leak (not to say thats it). So the first thing I do is make sure the system is properly charged. This takes the proper equipment. This does not mean it will fix it but it's where most cases should start. This is also why buying shitty little cans of refridgerent at the auto parts store and ramming them into your A/C system and seeing what happens is fucking stupid. I really wish people couldn't buy those. How does anyone expect to diagnose the system when there are variables they don't know? Take it to someone with the correct tools. Maybe its a charge problem, maybe its moisture, maybe its the compressor or the sensors controlling it, but you won't know anything until you've checked for leaks, verified that it has the correct charge in it, and then see if the sensors are reading correctly so you can properly and accuratly diagnose it from that point.
  18. That takes the right person. I'm sure lots of potential Saab buyers are scared off by the fact that there really is no more Saab. I'm sure Jordan is well aware of most followings out there. If a lot has a couple sports cars and interesting things out front that always seems good for bussiness to bring in a few more people. Seems like crossovers and small SUVs are still fairly popular with the masses. We sell quite a few Mazda CX5s and CX9s, plus the Subaru side seems to move a lot of that ugly XV Crosstek. A couple cars like that in your second row are good bet.
  19. Really glad that you're okay, obviously bikes can be fixed or replaced. This type of thing always worried me on a bike, you can react to a lot of things that happen in front of you but some idiot not paying attention is so shitty because there wasn't much you could've done. Get to feeling better.
  20. That is an old running joke that hasen't been brought up in a while, but yes it proves you a newb. Move along.
  21. So should I assume it was properly tuned and running properly at one time and this has recently started or you just went to the haltech and are now having this issue? What's the condition of the engine? Do you have access to the proper rotay compression gauge?
  22. Welcome, looks like an interesting FC.
  23. Just for the record I'm not retired, I'm grounded. I get let out at the end of the month. and as for street racing being legal, I'd continue to race anyone who rolls up beside me. I'd like to see Phil get his ass drug down the highway by just one of these keyboard racers.
  24. Should be back in town so I may show up.
