  1. I love my Miata simply because it's about the best handling car I could afford. Even for a lack of breakneck speed it makes me smile everytime I drive it. The Camaro on the other hand feels like a muscle car and I smile everytime I put the hammer down.
  2. Next time you find that deal I'll give you a $50 finders fee just to hook me up.
  3. There are just so many things that get confusing simply because they made the first generation small block chevy for so long. Basically a 350 is a direct bolt in, especially if it is from around the same year. If it's fuel injected that poses a couple other minor challenges, but it's totally doable and isn't expensive when compared to other things at all. Depends some on what you started with and wanted to end up with as far as whats easier. Tell us more about your current setup and goals, and I'm sure you'll get more specific feedback.
  4. I've looked for it and the only places I've seen is Lowes. They have black and white cans. Haven't been to an auto parts store that has any.
  5. Most police don't use them but yes there is the Caprice PPV, but what I think Ben might have been thinking of the new Chevy SS RWD performance sedan, a totally different car then the Impala.

    Cars and coffee?

Cup o Joe opens at 8, so in theory it starts at 8. Most of us show around 9 and people trickle in after 10 so I always enjoy hanging out for a while since the crowd always seems to change as the morning goes on.
  7. Some people tolerate it better then others. I've seen my boss who is 6'8" get in and drive one (not that he likes to), but it really depends on you. People about my size get in my car and hate it but it works for me fine. I'd suggest trying it out as I've met people bigger then me who own them.
  8. You should try Dave Gill Chevrolet they can't seem to hire enough low level kids.
  9. Nope, 3.6 is as big as it gets. Base models get a 4 cylinder. Even though it doesn't get the 5.3 the 3.6 is a much nice to drive engine and it really feels like 300 hp. I'm not a huge fan of the dual overhead cam, 3 timing chain, over complicated engine, but it does run fantastic when it's all together. Don't be a hater. You can rent anything, last trip to Chicago we had a BMW 5 series rental and it was horrible.
  10. Aww just cause you play Audi and try to act all adult doesn't mean some us don't like to beat our chests and roast some tire now and then. Being grown up isn't all its cracked up to be. Cool vid too.
  11. Really didn't think Doc was even considering selling if it was his.
  12. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/3950981468.html dear god, I want to buy it just to unfuck it. and I don't mean paint the bumper.
  13. Okay fine even made a poll to voice my opinion, lol. Those were my second choice anyway.
  14. This was going to be my suggestion as a father daughter project with something else to be more of a driver but that can be hard to do for many reasons. I however would try to find a way to make those memories with my daughter, obviously that is why you have been seriously considering it in the first place. Besides getting rid of the Trans Am because you spent time on it you could've been spending with your family this would be a great compromise. I hope you can find a good solution.
  15. Could be sticking slides or a brake hose. If the piston is hard to push back try opening the bleeder (if it isn't rusted shut obviously) and see if it pushes in easier. If it does the rubber brake hose has likely started to break down and cause a restriction. This is not uncommon on older cars and is why I usually recommend hoses with calipers. In other words if the hose has started to break down the brake pressure makes the fluid flow fine to apply the breaks but when the pedal is released fluid doesn't flow as well backwards to releive the pressure. So inspect the calipers, but possibly a hose going bad.
  16. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/3941278965.html Craigslist LOL!
  17. Any exhaust shop with a pipe bender should have the attachment to swedge pipe. So how about Mad Hatter? Assuming you are just talking about pipe expansion.
  18. That's awesome, more people like Steve and crime would go down. Fucking thieves likely would've gotten away with it since the cops don't do much for this type of crime.
  19. Eh I say do it. It'll be subtle enough that most people won't notice, but us car guys will be like "oh that's a nice touch". Clean, cheap, and subtle, right up my alley, I like it.
  20. Is this real life? Toretto would be proud.
  21. I really want my Sonoma back. It was the truck I got my senior year of high school, met my wife in, and really enjoyed. http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/IMG_0004.jpg http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/IMG_0003.jpg Sorry for the crappy pics.
  22. That's too technical for CR to grasp old man. :lolguy:
