  1. Depends on end goal, if its nothing too radical it really won't matter much. Most mild blower cams are not going to have any ill effects without the blower. That being said I'd just put the blower on.
  2. QFT! Wish I could've made my thoughts so clear.
  3. I'm down for the hangout, need to get out. Not sure on dinner.
  4. We were making jokes at work all day, but the same construction company that is doing their addition is doing ours at Byers. Word has it someone was cutting on the roof and caught the rubber roofing material on fire, since this is similar to what the news is reporting I'm sure its something like that. It was one of these construction guys though I didn't hear who exactly whether it was a roofer, plumber, laborer, or what. I just don't want these idiots to come down and be working on our addition, my work bay is about 2 feet from where they're working
  5. Yeah right, its called unemployment, and "oh I hope you had your own insurance on your tools"
  6. April fools, let me know when there is at least a concept on display at some autoshow.
  7. So you really can see me every time I walk outside of my work. I just hope nobody was hurt in the fire. I feel bad for the guys who work in that shop. No job, tools likely fucked up, shitty.
  8. Yes sir, I went to test drive and saw that.

Getting under control from the looks of it at this time. Saw 15 foot flames in that black smoke when I went down there to see.
  10. Okay if you say so. Never heard of it so I'm sceptical. Did you ask Wheel Medic yet?
  11. So you want to mill half an inch out of the bead seat, and basically the rest of the inside of the rim in order to make mounting the tires possible? Honestly I don't think thats a good idea if it is even a possibility. How thick is the rim material anyway?
  12. Would I classify them as unsafe? No not really, would I waste any time using them up? NO! I agree thats not the best, and sitting kills tires, but I would burn them up berfore getting some new ones. It's pretty much industry standard to not keep tires in use past 7 years. Rubber dries out, its just the nature of the beast.
  13. It can be a little nerve racking, but you won't have to do much until after the baby is born. Even in the hospital everyone helps out a lot and makes the transition into parenthood easier then some make it out to be. Just sit back and enjoy life for the next nine months or so, you're done with your job for now.
  14. I'll have to do that, I'm willing to work out something I can keep some of the aftermarket parts or something. I just don't want to take a total bath. Thank you, and no I should't have but I will just have to deal with it.
  15. I just have to ask, it's not an automatic right? I doubt you'll get enough life out of it to matter, I thought you were going to junk it.
  16. Obo bump. I know I'm going to lose out on this deal, but I can't keep it.
  17. Well what to say, despite all the shenanigans that goes along with you I'm sure you'll make a good dad.
  18. I'd rather mod and improve the new stuff. I never said I would buy a new car and leave it alone. I really enjoy learning what can be done with the new stuff. I've messed with carbs, built old V8s, gone as crazy as my budget allows on LS stuff. I love where stuff was, and love where its going. I have to completely agree about taking pride in what you yourself has done, but I also want to take that further and not make copies of things already done. This is why I love the new stuff, it just opens so many new opportunities. And while I'm rambling, I think the newer stuff is easier to work on. Sure some cars take al lot to get apart, but the computers make them so much more refined. People just don't want to learn, or are lazy, or just too intimidated that they only want to mess with the older stuff because there is so many people who have done it there is just a ton of info out there to know how. So give me a new car and let me beat my head against the wall figuring it out so I can really have something to be proud of.
  19. We haven't really began modding direct injection on a large scale, and factory ECUs just keep getting better. The kind of power common on modded 80s and 90s cars now come out of the factory operating smoother and making more. The way I see it there are just more options and ways to have fun with a car then ever. The more hot rodding changes the more it stays the same.
  20. What? I don't have a facebook. I have been told that I have a certain nutswinger creating one for me but I haven't seen it, nor do I approve.
  21. Damn, you guys look older then me. That's fucked up.
  22. April fools. Actually it is and I'm exactly 32 years old right now.
  23. I was just joking bud, did you pull the others out of the trash and finish the race?
