Well I'm not OG enough on CR to have been around for the back story, maybe one of you OGs would explain it for all the kids.

Just want to point out, bikes will be welcome as there is a motorcycle dyno, and to keep in mind that this is a 2WD dyno. Unfortunately you AWD guys can will only get to hang out, but that is worth the trip. This has always been a pretty eventful day so fun is guaranteed.

of course we can just circle around and park again, which might actually work out really well for lots of pics and vids.

So how about anyone who would like to be in a video all stick around C&C until roughly 11am and all leave together with a few people taking video?

Pretty much, this is an interesting place and I hope you stick around to see the good side of everything. There are a lot of personalities and groups of us that are into different things and even more groups that hang out together so there are a lot of dynamics. Like others have said there is no need to apologize, and I look forward to meeting you, hopefully I can be one of those guys with helpful info on your LS project.

And people wonder why shops shy away from them. I'd rather turn down work then take on something like this. If he had said "look I fucked up, please fix this" that would be one thing, but from the sounds of this story I would've sent hime down the road.

I think there is an obvious break down in communication between the shop and customer. I hate having to be the dickhead technician but I often feel the need to harp on service advisors and customers about pentential issues with their cars. After doing that type of work I would be very clear and document what was going on. Sounds like a lazy tech and shop, because with the car in that condition clear and precise details need to be presented. If the tech simply hung parts and shipped the car then he is worthless. If they did what I described, then yes clear neglect by the cars owner.
