  1. Welcome back to real life, I'm in the never have never will crowd. It's starting to annoy me how much people and bussinesses are going that way, but I'm gonna stay a hold out.
  2. Don't shit in my sections or you will get infracted. The tech section is not the kitchen, only people with consructive advice need to post.
  3. Nice Packie. Now I know why the rubber looked fresh sunday when I was there autocrossing.
  4. Really enjoyed having someone close to compare to, but yes I realize the only reason I had a little bit on you was that the course was big enough for me to take advantage of a little boost. I am scared, scared that I'll start trying to be really competitive, and that it would take the fun out of it.
  5. Sounds like you may be right on the MAF, but just a couple things to double check, what does the MAF show on your scanner specifically? 0, pegged one way or the other? You could have a broken melted wire somewhere, or a bad air leak after the MAF. Is a DSM MAF based on frequency or voltage? I'd gladly help you regardless of what else had been done/said/argued about on the rest of CR, and trolling will not be tolerated in the Tech section. So to OP don't have an attitude in the tech section, and everyone else needs to stay out if they don't have anything constructive to add.
  6. He was driving an Evo 10, and Joe had a some good runs with it.
  7. Look who's talking, Arizona boy. I was at Ackerman yesterday and peppered a few Angus', Jones wasn't there. I like running the smaller clubs, you guys can have fun hanging out with 150 people.
  8. Moving parts around to see if the misfire moves to another cylinder is where I'd start.
  9. No thanks want to run the autocross at Kilkare, you take advantage of all the driver's schools you can go to.
  10. Well if you want to pick a winner, I ran a 62.3. However DSM Sleeper was faster.
  11. Oh look whos back from vacation. Want to come to Kilkare for an auto cross in the morning?
  12. I was glad to see a small but decent turnout show up, I had a blast with a few of you guys.
  13. Most of them are just spark plug wire retainers. Some of the supercharged cars had a revised recall that included the front valve cover, but I've only done a handfull of those.
  14. Interwebs or not, talking shit about someone's really ill family member is really low. Anyone who sees humor in it is about fucking worthless. Some of you really need to stop and think about how you'd feel with the roles reversed. Best wishes to you and your wife Thorne, let me know if you need anything. You helped me a few years ago when I was going through a tough time in my life and I bet you don't even realize it, so when I offer help I really mean it.
  15. Boohoo Gabe. Nobody gives a fuck but the other trolls.
  16. Stuff is all gone or spoken for, thanks anyway.
  17. Takes a couple hours without air tools, goes much faster at work. Plugs would add a little, and hope your plug wires aren't brittle.
  18. I thought we were going to Corvette's of Troy?
  19. What engine? A 3.4 and a 3.8 are a pretty different. If its a 3.4 just make sure its the valve cover gaskets and not the lower intake (honestly I do mostly lower intakes which include valve covers, about 6 hours). If 3.8 plan on getting the little plastic coolant tubes under the alternator bracket (usually break), and about 2.5 hours is book time (I think). Either way if we could work out some time I'd do them for you. Sorry I'm not much help in recommending a shop, I know techs at the Northend Wrench and Boyd's Goodyear on Schrock that would be decent on the north side of town. I work at a Dave Gill on the east side if you want a fair deal at a dealership. PM me if I can answer any more specific questions.
  20. Not exactly, the GTO was based off the Holden Monaro, this is like the G8 which is based off the Commadore.
  21. Much better, you'll be golden now. Welcome to the site.
