    tonight?

Me you and some lotion? I wouldn't mind coming up, with or without the lotion.
  2. I changed the oil in my Miata today, it's worth so much more now.

    tonight?

No I really want to roll around in the Miata tonight. I need to get out of the house anyway, had a nap after work and everything.

    tonight?

Want to ride in my Miata?
  5. I don't know a lot about it, but I do know it varies a lot on where you are. Some inspections will consist of a quick scan to make sure your OBD2 readiness tests have passed, others will actually hook up a 5 gas analyzer. Its my understanding that Pennsylvania is more concerned with rust and saftey items then emissions.
  6. The only thing I'm going to miss about my apartment is that I still haven't turned my heat on. The fucking dumbass neighbors I have suck, but they aparently like to be toasty warm because my apartment hasn't gotten cold enough to kick on set at 72. The stat says its about 73-74 in my place. My wife was running the A/C a few weeks ago because she was hot.
  7. That would work good for most people, but you will spend some timer waiting on it to refill if you are using an impact gun repeatedly.
  8. I would get the biggest thing you can afford. If you're not going to be running sanders and paint prep type equipment you can get away with smaller stuff. An impact is going to work better on higher pressure with some decent cfm in order to break loose the stubborn stuff. The bigger you get the less it'll have to run and the more effecient it'll be. Personally I'd go big enough to hard wire it to 220v, but I also would want to bring my air tools home and have them work as well as they do at work. A decent 20+ gallon air compresser should get you enough, just look at the cfm output in relation to the air pressure its rated at. Since most smaller compressors will stay around 90-100 psi make sure it has some cfm there.
  9. If I was going to get one it would have to be 2wd, the 4wd stuff is crap. As soon as the front diff starts leaking and you don't catch it right away it will break, they don't hold much fluid. If you don't need 4wd don't get it. Other then that it's the typical trailblazer stuff, creaks and rattles, worn wheel bearings, and half assed gas mileage.
  10. I don't cruise LS1tech as much as I used to, but I have never heard of them. Doesn't mean they aren't good, maybe you can find out who is doing the work as there are a few good shops that closed up and maybe some good people went there.
  11. Just my opinion, but I have seen stock powered metal connecting rods break like this when reused. So if a piston had been replaced there could have easily been stress put on the rod weakening it. The way the factory rods are made I personally do not like the idea of reusing them. Just my 2 cents, not meant to be starting anything.
  12. Well that sucks, was that modded? Usually see LS motors break rod bolts as opposed to the actual rod, just curious about the set-up if you don't mind sharing.

    Mazda Meet 11/15

You have any more info? Is there a group or car club involved?

    Ouija Boards

Can someone with one of these duracell powered milton bradley boards of magical powers come and help me out? I'm always waking up full and covered in blood, I can't eat all day, and for some reason I get a hard-on around dogs.
  15. 3 phase typically has a lower power draw on larger industrial equipment, thus why it is used in commercial and industrial applications. The two systems are not exactly compatible, more specifically with electrical motors, they are entirly different. Single phase motors can be hooked up to two legs of a 3 phase electrical supply, but not the other way around. Also keep in mind that there are 2 type of 3 phase, delta and wye, wye being the most common and what most people refer to. A delta system is grounded differently causing the middle leg to be a higher voltage. Anyway i don't know what info you are trying to clarify for yourself, but if its something i can answer feel free to PM me.
  16. Very nice, congrats on a job well done.
  17. If the inner isn't loose I wouldn't bother, just my honest opinion. They rarely go out and even when they get loose the chance of it coming apart is slim. But like i said just my opinion, I can't fault you for wanting new parts there.
  18. Never heard of that, they eventually will get a little play in them, thats when you can tell a customer its worn. I suppose that would show that it has wear to it, but I wouldn't want to go to a customer trying to explain that either.
  19. Okay, wasn't sure I haven't decided to go blu-ray yet.
  20. I agree, we have 3 writers, writing for 3 teams. The other 2 are supposed to take the other techs into account when one of the writers isn't here, but that never happens, especially when its my writer because he only has 2 guys and the other one is our transmission guy. However when he's here I can't keep up with him most of the time so I almost always have work.
  21. You have a DVD player don't you? If not I think I have a basic one at home.
  22. Why so serious? Didn't you see my post saying how I was standing around so I felt like bitching? I come to work motivated and don't like standing around. My writer is here today so i have stuff to do, thus I'm in a much better mood today.
  23. I will be up after I visit with my wife's grandpa, so no food for me. I would imagine getting up there around 10 or so. Anyone up for a movie tonight? I have a small collection of good car stuff, including the original Vanishing Point if anyone is interested.
  24. LOL, at the tool to remove the tie rod. A couple wacks with a hammer where the tie rod goes in the knuckle and it will fall right out. I've never had to use one of those tools and I do a few tie rods a week at least. That looks like a pitman arm remover anyway. You wil want to get it aligned right after replacement, you can try to get it close but the toe being off even a little will cause the most tire wear.
