  1. Yeah. So what kind of tool attacks someone for telling them they are trespassing?:dumb:
  2. See I kind of agree with you, but I love my f-body very much. Maybe it's a little more sentimental for me, but the car makes me happy every time I drive it. I agree in the fact that I don't need 2 of them, hence why the Vette. I got to look over Anthony's new car last night, and it's in really good shape. Considering most of these I see anymore get hacked and beat up or rusted, this one only needs some minor trim stuff fixed up. I'd say Jordan did a good job finding this one and getting Anthony a great deal. I'll look forward to seeing at least one of my f-body buddies out again.
  3. You can always pleed not-guilty and talk to the prosecutor. Pleading guilty automatically gives you what you have coming. or what I do because I'm lazy and don't like dealing with it, pay a lawyer.
  4. Wow, that looks really nice, I'd be excited too.
  5. Love it, always loved Vipers, this is no exception.
  6. 1st world problems, I drove the Corvette last week so the Camaro gets some love this week. I'd drive which ever you didn't drive last.
  7. So just in case anyone missed it, bump.
  8. My first car was a 91 Festiva, I totaled that it went for scrap. The 1991 Sonoma I got my Senior year in high school and kissed my wife for the first time in I sold, last I checked it was still in Ohio. I want that truck back. My 1998 S10 was traded in for my wife's Impala after I got the Camaro, it was totalled by someone and is gone. My other s10s were all used up and I junked them. My 91 Miata was ragged out and sold to Pat Burke. It may still be around but it was pretty rough. My 2004 Miata I just sold to some young guy out near Dayton.
  9. Being a mechanic i'm a little biased towards fixing, especially knowing there is no way I'd spend over $1k. A good working car is just more valuable, if you can't fix it yourself then sell it to someone who can. I think paying over $2k unless you're attached to it is stupid, and it doesn't sound like you are.
  10. It's simply a Circle D 5c single disk lock-up off the shelf converter.
  11. Just don't go too far the other way, it flashes to about 5k rpms, we just need it to flash to about 4k. That's probably just making it about a 3400-3500 stall assuming the efficiency doesn't change. Do you want me to call Circle D?
  12. I think they turned out great. Bright sunlight on a white car is hard to do and these look good.
  13. I wonder how long this will last, I have to admit I'm kind of surprised to see you buy a Camaro of all things. The way some people bitch it's a wonder anyone likes them. Anyway I like them, and it should be fun, I hope get some fun out of it.
  14. You can stop it from working, but IMHO thats only half the job.
  15. You can't simply tune DOD out, you need to block off some passages and change the lifters. A couple common issues is not only burning oil but I have seen quite a few with stuck DOD lifters. If I was buying one, and I plan to in the next couple years, I would go all the way with the engine changing lifters, tuning, and deleting DOD. It is also common to see failed fuel pump flow control modules, they either fault, or stop working all together keeping your fuel pump from turning on. There has been a policy that covered some but not all of the effected trucks. The EVAP system tends to burn up vent solenoids, and the replacement parts require rerouting of the system. The front diff tends to leak at the axle seals, and I have also had to rebuild a few of these, although they typically last to 100k or more so long as they are taken care of. A failed front diff seems to be common in trucks that see a lack of maintenece and it's the first thing to fail. There are lots of other stupid minor stuff, the bowtie emblems suck and look horrible in a short time. The power folding mirror option breaks, and you have to buy the whole mirror assembly from GM to fix it. The uplevel interior (LTZ) has problems with chrome pealing off parts. The 3rd brake light is prone to leaking water if it's removed to replace a bulb. I have had to replace rusty rear bumpers before they were out of warranty. I'm sure there are a few things I'm forgetting. Now I do like the seats, and I think they ride pretty well for a truck. They are not very hard to work on (maybe I'm biased because I do it everyday). The drivetrain aside from the DOD is very reliable if taken care of, fresh fluids every couple years, and lack of abuse will keep it going for a long time.
  16. I mostly drive GM stuff obviously, but I actually like the current Malibu. I absolutely hate vans of any kind, and most trucks are pretty boring, but mostly its little econo boxes that are uncomfortable and anemic.
  17. If it all comes apart I'd rebuild it. I only hunt down a used diff if the old one gets seized and refuses to come apart.
  18. Not that there's much special about adjusting aftermarket parts, but I am familiar with custom alignments. I can get your buddy taken care of at Lash with it set up however he wants. Of course if there is a lot of adjustability he may want to take it somewhere with corner scales.
  19. I honestly haven't had any Trailblazers/ect eating encoder motors. I'm sure someone willing to spend the time on it is going to find something worn, binding, ect. I have seen most of the driveline issues stem from the front diff, but this very well could be something else. Personally I wouldn't want a Trailblazer, let alone the Saab version that I doubt you could get most trim parts for. I'd seriously consider trading it off and being done with it.
  20. I don't know off hand, maybe. We can cut the new flip keys yes, but G8 keys are unique that I don't beleive we have the adaptors for.
  21. I would PM Lash Sales on here, I have no idea about sales.
