  1. Lawnmowers.com The guys on there are serious about running good on your turf. ...I know its a lame post but I don't care.
  2. It wasn't wrecked in August. :dumb: Nobody is bullshiting you, cars become worthless when totalled, sorry about your luck.
  3. Having had my daughter at 20, I wish I would've had her at 30, I would be a more involved parent now. Now that I've grown up I'm willing to spend more time with her and she's a teenager. At least I should have some good years as a grandfather someday. Having a kid at 30 isn't so bad in my opinion. Congrats.
  4. Find a small shop, or a really slow shop and walk in with cash. Techs love to do that kind of shit cheap and off the books.
  5. he's the best host on my favorite show, fuck the BBC.
  6. Really nice turnout, glad to see some people. Thanks Doc for opening.
  7. Bump for tomarow, for a great end of winter hangout!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Oh boy, Now I get to deal with Benner every day. This sure backfired on me.
  9. Interesting thread, I'm glad it got brought up. I've been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old, but once I got to 18 or so my perscription hasn't changed much at all and I've really been considering this. It seems there is a pretty big swing in price, I take it that all has to do with how bad your eyes are? Everybody posting seems to have had a good experience, is there anyone in Columbus to stay away from?
  10. Yup, there is certainly that to see. It's cool.
  11. There is interest, so it will be opening at 9PM. Will be a short night due to daylight savings starting. Come out to CR's best winter event!!! Let's not disappoint our very generous friend, who rumor has it may not have the hangout next year. For those who don't know, Hangout is at 320 London Road in Delaware, in the Howald Industrial Park. We are at the front of the first building to your left as you come down the drive. There are many good routes to use from Columbus to the Hangout (e.g., I-71 north, SR315 north along the Olentangy, SR257 north along the Scioto), but a simple way from Polaris tonight would be this: travel west on Polaris Parkway. It becomes Powell Road at US23, but continue to the village of Powell (watch your speed there). In the center of town, turn right on Liberty Road. Go until it dead ends on London Road. Turn left on London Road, travel 100 ft, turn right into Howald Industrial Park. The whole trip is just 3 turns!
  12. Well damn. Hope you get something else fun.
  13. Long live Mothra. Hapie Birfdai dood.
  14. That one local was Eric Lash's demo, I've driven that one and realigned it per the recall. Lol.
  15. In Australia where thats made GM owns Holden, same place the GTO ans G8 came from. It is based on the Holden Commadore, same thing the G8 is based on, hence the similarity and updated chassis. I have driven them, they are quite nice.
  16. sounds good. I'll bring some booze.
  17. you know after you and Katie christen the house, it's time for you and the boys to get drunk and make some new memories in the house!
  18. Code and safe aren't always the same thing, if its not getting inspected who cares so long as it's safe? If you want to move the stove then move it, make sure you're new parts don't leak (easily done with a little soapy water) and move on with life.
  19. Why not connect on a length of hard line before the flexible end?
  20. I got to look at it very close last night, and I can confirm that it is straight out of a Solstice right down to the purge solenoid still mounted there with nothing going to it. Wasn't under it see the trans but suspect thats the same. The exhaust is unique, not sure where they got the electic power steering rack, and I don't recognize the 3 channel ABS system. It really looks great in person, and I'm sure it'll be a blast to drive.
  21. Looking forward to checking that out in person.
  22. I would expect a decent B tech to turn over 40 hours easily, the work is there. I would expect pay to be in mid-teens, but it's based on experience. The right person will know what he's worth and get paid accordingly, it's all negotiable.
  23. The Cruze is a decent little car, but the deisel is stupid. There really isn't any reason to go with the deisel over the gas considering the eco gets better mpg and is much cheaper msrp. The Cruze deisel just isn't selling so offer some serious incentive is seriouslh needed. I personally don't care for it anyway, it sounds like a tractor and its a turd.
  24. Pretty small shop for a dealership, 4 flat rate techs, a lube tech, and a used car tech. Each of us has 2-3 bays. Work is pretty steady, and picking up. Starting rate is negotiable, thats not my department.
