  1. I'm not interested in working on it, but if it's been sitting apart for long you likely just created bigger issues then it had before. Sounds like pulling the engine and going through it sound be an option to consider. Seems like it'll get put together just to figure out what is really wrong with it, just to tear it all apart again, this is exactly why you'll have trouble finding a decent tech who wants to deal with what has been turned into a basket case.
  2. See Joe at least you are smart enough about it to tap into an appropriate place with a fuse rather then scab off something else or connect it to the battery. This stuff is just becoming even more important the more advanced they continue to make vehicles.
  3. I really like our directv, signal gets bad during storms sometimes, but their service has been great in the year we've had it. We have Uverse for internet, and it has been fantastic for that. Time Warner had decent service for the ten years we had it before we moved but their customer service kept us from dealing with them again, 2 hours on the phone just trying to sign up and they got the finger. Wow is fucking pathetic in my opinion, their shit crashed more often then my directv ever has in the 3 months I had WOW, and their TV equipment was crappy too.
  4. Jay Leno's Garage, Motortrend, Motorweek, some other random Chevy stuff. I kind of like to see what random crap dipyourcar comes up with too.
  5. Really looking for 18s due to some tires I already have, thanks. Sent you a PM.
  6. Those are nice but I doubt they'd fit into my budget.
  7. The wheels I have for the Camaro will not do what I want, nor do I want to dismount the good tires I have for the Camaro. The Camaro will still get driven.
  8. What I'm looking for is something cheap for slicks, like the 18x9.5 wagon wheels that are on the back of my 1997 Corvette. Before I bite the bullet and deal with craigslist or ebay I thought I'd see if anyone on CR had something laying around, only need 2 but will consider whatever. Key word here is cheap, I don't have $1k+ to spend on wheels this year, I'm try to do as much as I can on my budget.
  9. First house I bought I knew what I wanted because I wasdoing electrical work for a specific builder, and really liked one of their models. The house I have now we looked it a little over a dozen maybe, but when we looked at this house my wife my daughter and I all liked it. So when we found this one we knew it was the right one.
  10. Looks way better then it sounded when i was reading your post. I like it.
  11. I love riding, jusr kills my back. Love some Perry for qukck fun.
  12. I have stopped trying new things and only drink Jameson at this point, 2 cubes and about half a glass makes for a nice drink to sip on.
  13. I knew you were a girl at heart.
  14. I'll be enjoying a nice evening at home with my family, best thing an old guy like me can do.
  15. I am a fan of clutch type posi units, rebuildable is nice but if you break something or need more then clutches in an Eaton it's just more cost effective to replace it. Just my 2 cents, seems a lot of guys like the Ford parts.
  16. Didn't even know the place existed until I joined CR and some CR friends got me to go there, it was one of those places with a certain character to it that you just can't get in many places. It's a shame to see the news.
  17. So was this an intro or an ad for trails?

    CR Cooks

I certainly like meat, so this was along the lines of my first thought.

  20. We usually charge like 3 tenths, so $30-40 whatever it is. If you want to come to Johnstown you can swing by Lash and I'll do it for you. We'll be here until Noon, back on Friday.
  21. Oh so tempting, I really like Kaito, he's a really nice dog.
  22. Same thing just happened to me, Carfax does a good job of covering their ass in the legal. It's what is reported to Carfax, so unless you can prove it was reported before you bought it. It takes a while for that shit to cycle through and if it gets sold right after its fixed it won't be on there. Happens all the time. After owning my Miata for 3 years and seeing that stuff was reported about 6 months after I bought it there wasn't much recourse. I just took my loss and moved on, at least I was honest with the new owne so I don't have that hanging over me.
