  1. Grant works at Germain Nissan, next to Germain Mazda.
  2. Well the guy got his financing aproved so the car will be going to a new home.
  3. Why are you looking for a new job? I have always answered that its not challenging me, or since my job is prone to commision an acceptible reason in how their changed management or policies always seems acceptable. Do you have any questions for me? I always pause, and act like I'm pondering for a couple seconds, and if i really don't have any i compliment them on thoroughly explaining it to me. A job interview in my opinion is mostly confidence without coming off arrogant, and having a plesent attitude. I have only had a couple interviews that didn't lead to a job offer, and I've had a lot of jobs. The others likely had somebody friend of a friend involved. You'll get something, just keep at it I'm sure your field is tougher to get a job in then mine.
  4. A Magnum T56 is the way to go, indestructible unless you're making Dyno Brian power, and a great shifting trans. I'm sure there have been plenty swapped into foxes.
  5. I've dipped whole panels on my truck, it was fine until i tried to get it off. Either it wasn't thick enough, or it doesn't peel well after seeing every type of weather for a year. Honestly it likely was too thin.
  6. I just texted them back for you, "Why are you having kids if you can't afford them?" Sounds like some bullshit to me.
  7. Most people are afraid the lathe with break it's bits off trying to cut them, they can be turned a little bit at a time but it takes forever. Good luck finding someone.
  8. The only reason I'm not trading it in, is so I can have some time with no car payment. Take advantage of how much I hate selling things, and get a crackhead deal on a car that I should hold out for $12k. I just want it to go away so i can get ahead on my bills and buy a Vette.
  9. Couldn't agree more. People won't even look at the car, and take the carfax as equal to a certified tech doing an inspection. Way to go misinformed computer age lazy people.
  10. Agreed, it's just a shame. Hopefully by posting other people will be aware of how it really works.
  11. Let me just say, when you buy a car with a clean Carfax only to have it's accidents reported after you've already bought it is complete bullshit, and as I'm finding out there is little to no recourse. This seems to be happening to a lot of people, and with some of the shady shit I see working at a car dealership I can't say I'm surprised that shit like this goes on in the automotive resale industry. Basically it normally takes 6-18 months for things to show up on carfax, so you can easily see how this can become an issue, car gets fixed, car gets traded, car gets sold, easily within 6 months, now you really overpaid for something. Word to the wise, do some in depth inspections, and take Carfax and other similar agencies with a grain of salt. Why am I posting this, simple, I fell victim, I thoroughly inspected the car before I bought it. Aligned it right after purchase, no issue, and found only minor signs like replacement wheels, RF headlight. The car was fixed properly and is in great working order, however the couple good leads I've gotten get the VIN and run away. It sucks for me, don't let it suck for you. Watch out and don't assume the Carfax is a great thing, even though mine was fixed properly without any issues it's still hurting me trying to sell it, and the report didn't show this shit when I bought it.
  12. Set of 4 Toyo Proxes 4s had them for a couple years, were $500 new, I'm firm at $100 50% or so of tread, slight feathering from aggressive driving but not noticeable when driven. http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/for%20sale/CIMG0574_zps9ccaf1a8.jpg
  13. Bump for the fact that its all stock now, with stock wheels.
  14. Looks like a 3 channel rear.
  15. Too bad. RIP. To a cool lady, haha.
  16. I grew up in that area, I don't mind it but since my daughter is school age, we live in the suburbs. It's not the greatest area but I would live there on a good deal.
  17. Well I made it clear that it was your choice, I just don't trust these stock bottom ends past 6-700 wheel, for reliability anyway. Impressive car, build a short block and then see if you can hit 900 before you take it apart.
  18. Part of eBay is that ebay guarantees that the item is as described, if you can show that it isn't getting a refund shouldn't be too hard. That being said while the car looks like shit, I'm not sure the description is accurate enough to make it an easy deal either way.
  19. With the brake pressed you should have 12 volts between the two wires at the solenoid on the shifter.
  20. Please tell me about said recall. Perhaps you mean bulliten. And your VIN just shows the ignition switch and key recalls, others have been done. FYI your car does have the lifetime fuel pump policy on it because they has issues with them leaking, so don't ever buy one.
  21. I think you should take the shifter handle off and try to operate it. It'll have to come off anyway. The brake switch on the pedal goes to the BCM, and the BCM control the shift interlock, I looked it up to make sure.
  22. I've seen the shifter handle come apart inside preventing you from being able to push down the detent, and I've also seen plenty of screwed up shifter assemblies. Does it click when you press the brake in park? If not you need to check the connector at the base of the shifter for power and ground, if it does click its one of the two things I mentioned.
