Had quite a few interactions with officers on the bike. 2 times last year, once for the crash & once for speeding - was going 63 in a 50, coming into a town from country roads.... it was coming into Bellville and still felt country'ish. The Bellville cop was going the opposite direction and pulled a u-turn on both of us. We both quickly stopped, was very polite but still both got a ticket. Second time was my crash last year. Both wolfman1 and myself crashed in the corner. I received a ticket, he did not. He ended up in the hospital so I believe the cop was a bit more lenient in his case because of that. Was a statie and I think he thought we were racing or something. I explained that we weren't, but I feel like he had this pre-disposition and wasn't changing his mind. Outside of getting tickets, the cops were both courteous and polite and didn't give me any sort of hard time. Probably because I was professional to them.

Another thing we noticed on this, if you are using mini CO2 charges for filling the tire, we used 3 full charges and only got to about 15PSI --- I'd recommend keeping several or the pump (which I've heard mixed reviews on)

The campaign has finally ended! Hopefully everyone who has already received their shirts/hoodies, likes them, and to everyone else, you should be receiving them in the next 7-10 days. I like how this worked out. Was simple enough (outside of the craziness that was the cease and desist order - but that was our own fault). We sold 39 shirts which is incredible!!! Look forward to seeing all you sexy mofos in the shirts at the event, which is just around the corner!

While I can't say for certainty on your riding ability, I can certainly speak from experience; I'm in agreement with whaler and saying that this ride may be a bit over your head and I'd recommend sticking to some smaller rides until you are an adequate rider. I'd be more than willing to meet up with you sometime and ride with ya locally and help you learn, I just don't think this ride is a great idea for you right now. Edit: Plus I'm not sure the liability on anyone of us if something was too happen.

Some guys(gals) split off and go do their own thing and others ride back together. If you want to do your own thing, you are more than welcome to, but if you want to ride back with a group, just ask em. Specifically, myself, whaler, & wolfman1 will be at least riding back to Wooster together and I'm sure some others will jump in as well. You are welcome to tag along if you'd like.

We need to get a list of leads/sweeps together for the ride. We kind of put this to the wayside with getting all the other things together, but let's focus on getting this together. If you are willing to lead/sweep a group, please let me know asap. Med-fast - I can lead and whaler will sweep. Helmutt said he'd lead a med group - rollnhot/shadyone will sweep that group as well. Heagagchongoose said he'd sweep a group as well.

Got mine as well today. I agree. The lettering on the bottom is hard to see. Unfortunately that's part of the learning curve in the designs. Hopefully the shirts will have a bit more definition. Actually did the route last Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As far as lane splitting goes, if it isn't common place to see lots of bikes lane splitting or filtering, cagers aren't going to look for it. It's not something they are accustomed to. I am a constant mirror checker in my car (and even on the bike), but most people don't pay enough attention. As far as legalizing lane splitting in Ohio, it's been discussed many times. Those who are competent at doing it, already do it. Legalizing it only going to encourage novices to attempt it and while I can agree that lane splitting is safer for motorcyclists, novices attempting it might not be for those individuals. My theory on this is the same as legalizing marijuana. I don't think necessarily legalizing it is the best option, BUT, don't prosecute those who do it. Just my two cents.

The real question is can you ever have too many motorcycling shirts? My friend, the answer is no... Unless you are married.
