  1. Shirts are completed. I'll be picking them up Friday morning. It would be great if anyone be at the Akron area would be able to meet me somewhere to pick there shirts up early so I don't have to lug 20+ tshirts down to Columbus.
  2. I drank a beer at bags with you. You just didn't drink one with me. Probably the main reason I felt like going Mach retard down 83.
  3. Welcome to our chaos. I'm in Akron and have met crazy. I'd avoid drinking beers with him!! Jk he's a good guy.
  4. We won't be stopping. You'll just jump in with us as we roll by. We will be stopping in coshocton. Id guess about 45-60 minutes after we leave Lodi.
  5. Rain out date is Sunday. Temperature won't change the date... 60s will be fine
  6. Honestly you'll be fine in the med fast group. I'm leading it and am not overly familiar with the route so it won't be crazy paced. Plus the sweep whaler will not push anyone if for some reason you feel out paced.
  7. Shirts are in printing. Said they'll be done this week.
  8. Never too late! We'd be happy to have ya. We just ask that you be geared up.
  9. Dayton group already figured into the equation Now just need to get the other 3 or so medium leads together.
  10. Guys, we are about a week away from the event. We still need to get a list of leads for the slow-medium groups. When I arrive with the NE group, myself, whaler, and wolfman1 will help get things organized, but it won't be easy unless we know who the leads are going to be. I will be bringing with me the t-shirts for those who ordered, print outs of the route for those who may need it or want it, and I might even bring blank nametag stickers so people can put their screen names on it so people can recognize who you are. Look forward to seeing all of you in a week!
  11. I prefer the Drift Ghost HD, comes waterproof up to 9m out of the box, where you'd have to buy a separate waterproof case from GoPro. The Drift also has a lower profile so it's a bit more aerodynamic. They both offer equal mounts. The Drift Ghost also offers a nice display within the camera which is a great feature that the GoPro Hero 3 doesn't offer. The greatest thing I can say, is that one day my camera flew off my bike at 55mph (my own fault cause I tried moving a sticky mount without replacing the sticky part so it didn't hold) and it got ran over by a car and still works like brand new. The battery cover did come off and I couldn't find it, so after contacting the customer support at Drift, they sent me a replacement at no cost and were very good about it. I'd recommend them to anyone.
  12. Heading up now. Should be there in about an hour cause I'm taking the fun way. Let me know if anyone is up here
  13. Well I'll be there about 7pm or so. Just post of you are coming. Tapatalk will alert me and I'll post where we are at.
  14. Nice ride there. Us sports bike riders just go fast enough to let the wind hold ya up haha. Glad you got out for a nice ride. I'm jealous.
  15. They have it listed on their website.
  16. Weather permitting I'm thinking I'm going to head up and eat some wings and a beer. Who else is gonna join me??
  17. PayPal is fine or you can just throw me some dollars at the event. Whichever is easier. PayPal is same. Derekclouser@gmail.com
  18. Got ya man. We will see you in two weeks!!
  19. The shirts are now 10$ for S-XL and +1.00 for each size above that. (3XL = 12.00). I'll absorb the extra cost but if anyone wants to cover the difference for their individual t-shirt is much appreciated.
  20. Okay, apologies to everyone. We have found another artist who can do what we need to do. It is a bit more expensive but I will absorb that cost to get this done. Sorry for scaring everyone and look foward to seeing all of you in a 2 weeks.
  21. Those links were taken from last years thread. I looked at the general overview and they looked accurate but I didn't verify the exact accuracy. The official route (which will be printed and handed out at the event) will be the following: http://goo.gl/maps/ZnwBZ I'll update the OP as well. Sorry for any confusion.
  22. Just went there to let my girl try on jackets, helmets, and gloves so I can figure out what sizes she needs so I could shop online. After looking online they were only slightly more expensive on their sale items so I asked the guy if he would cut me a deal to compete online. He did and even took more off than expected. I was pleased, but then I bought rear pads for the bike and they gave me the wrong ones. They did switch them back the next day with no problems but still had the hassle of having to go back to switch.
  23. Another rider from Akron here.... Welcome to our chaos... Most of us on here actually ride and stunting gives motorcycles a negative rep. This is why we really don't like stunting. As far as learning to stunt, I'd probably recommend learning how to ride right and safe before even thinking about stunting. This is coming from a guy who lost his twin brother in a motorcycle accident because he was riding recklessly down the highway. So take it from someone who's been there.
