Have you gone through that rigmorale to get the year long city parking pass yet? I'm glad they have the program, don't get me wrong, but I'd love to see a few things changed: -Not having to buy your tags at the city impound lot (aka the 3rd layer of Dante's Hell.) -Being able to associate your tag with more than 1 bike. - Pro - rating the cost for people who purchase later in the year. I think the above shortcoming make the program pretty unattractive for all but the hardcore motorcycle commuters. I'm worried it may get scrapped due to lack of popularity. Or worse, they'll give our parking zones away to the damn smart cars.

Yup. Take it from a guy who wrestled for 18 years, maintaining a 1 lb per week weight loss diet takes a lot of discipline (and spinach. ) Any more than 1 lb per week takes a huge caloric deficit, and is not sustainable IMO. Just stick with it and beware of overtraining if you're also working out right now.

Is it a ground sourced system?

Part of me is glad I lost all my guns in that unfortunate boating accident years ago, so I will not have to worry about the indignity of confiscation.

For families in that middle income level, FAFSA can be less about pulling down federal funds and more of a tool for individual colleges' aid programs to make determinations. There is a lot of money given out on a need basis in the top 50 or so universities. I know in the Ivy League families earning under 100k are offered 100 percent free tuition. And that phases out slowly enough that families making up to 150+ are still pulling down need based aid.

layoffs, opportunities, uncertainty and anxiety

It's tough out there for the unemployed. Seems risky to leave gainful employment without having the next gig lined up. I think a lot of HR departments are currently just sending any resume with a gap in employment into the trash can. Seems shitty and lazy on their part, but when applicants outnumber jobs 10 to 1 you have to screen somehow. -
Can we go ahead and grant refugee visas to Ukrainian babes?
-
Why should I care about the situation in Ukraine? It's not as if the gays are being oppressed there. Or is it? Just let me know if gays are being oppressed, and I will switch my position to one of caring. And rally the white 20 - something white girls of Facebook to my side. They are waiting to take a Stand on this particular Human Rights Issue.

Lifting during a weight cut is about the most soul - crushing thing for me. Any progress adding weight to the bar immediately halts. Then you start missing reps. Then the slow but steady decline of months and years worth of labor under the bar. Emotionally painful, but a 38" waist is not how I want to ring in my thirties.

I'm in for the slow group, and for a ride down from Columbus if anyone is meeting up beforehand.

Awesome. What was your cost in materials?

Welcome. Do you ever make it out to any MORPCA events?

Black Album onward is basically Nickelback quality shit. When you think about it, it's kind of amazing how quickly such a once-great band jumped the shark.

Not sure it's what you're looking for, but I have a Werksan Competition bearing bar, near mint condition I would part with for $600.

Why are you putting yourself in the middle of this situation, taking notes like some kind of cop, and borderline grappling with a belligerent drunk? Helping with the flares was a class move, but anything beyond that I don't get considering you weren't a witness to the collision. Not trying to bust balls, I just know stories of well intentioned guys who have paid for it after sticking their neck out too far in situations involving marginal characters.

Riding motor cycle, is like to ride camel. Most important is to maintain grip and look in direction one wants to be going. But never make with too much handful of front brake or you be getting thrown from your steed, without agatt, face look like falaffel.

What a shit show. On the one hand this freak deserved every ounce of suffering. On the other hand I am not okay with our government doing this to people. Maybe I am making the case for vigilante justice... -
Road today. Dodged some serious potholes.

That sounds almost too good to be true in comparison to all the quotes I got rate shopping earlier in the year with Progressive, Geico, etc. Is this company the type of deal that they won't even cover you unless you have an extensive motorcycle record with no claims?

Minimum Wage to 11.50 in a few places... including DC

7 words, and the truest thing said in the thread. Winners: a select few insiders already holding a job that pays minimum wage. Losers: anyone who buys things. Entry-level job seekers who dont yet hold a job. -

The fact that the values of the tea party are considered "far right" means we've pretty much lost the country. What is tea party is asking for is in reality quite a bit more moderate than most of the principles the US was founded on. Wanting a public sector that comprises less than 40% of GDP is not a far right position, IMO... -
Best wings in town are at Ray Ray's shack at Ace of Cups. Agree with Thurmans. Nice divey ambiance in addition to the burger.
