    Hello

Greetings from Hocking Hills, I wish you the best on your power-sports endeavor, It's a tough business from what I've been told. Not much Adventure stuff here but it's growing slowly. I hope you are able to find time to ride this next season. I had a 04 Strom1000 for 82K miles and loved it. Brian.
  2. Unwrapped Christmas Presents for the garage steeds.
  3. Hi Mike, I have been a V-Strom owner since 2004. Givi makes a great assortment of top cases as well as another company called Shad. Most are easily mounted to your rear rack so if you find a used one for another bike keep in mind they are easily installed. Top Boxes are great for touring and commuting but just remember to keep the weight down to a minimum especially if you are doing any off asphalt because the high weight can cause some stability issues for new riders. I had a Givi luggage on my 04 and had no issues. Take a look at the V-Strom site: http://www.stromtrooper.com/ The folks over there will tell you what you should do, what you need to do, how you should ride and of course give you at least 500 options as to what is available for your bike even if you did not ask. Also you will receive a lot of opinions of what the V-Strom can't do or should not be tried. Blah Blah Blah. Check out the V-Strom Rally at Ironhorse lodge. http://www.stromtrooper.com/events/396298-2018-eastern-v-strom-rally-stecoah-nc-may-17-20-2018-a.html My Givi Top Case, "empty" on the Dragon 2008

  6. I normally post here and AIO. We lost our Adventure riding page here so it get's buried at times. ADV riding may pick up here from what I hear going around.
  7. I got real bummed one time at the Flyaway Indoor Skydiving in Pigeon Forge when I saw the weight restriction and was unable to attend. Crank that shit up and let the pig's take wing.

Great day and enjoyed the easy pace that allowed me to take note of natural beauty that surrounds this area. Looking deep in the wood line and seeing all the creeks and rock formations that I miss during the summer or at my normal pace. 155 miles total, no Issues.

  16. And that is exactly what Dorna has designed the series to be since 1992, The Spanish championship series. Also can't be the GOAT without concurring the two stroke 500 monsters. Just a old guy's opinion.
  17. My Kat M/C ride is CXL-ed due to weather & Temps. So I needed a project to keep me in the garage while my wife's friend is visiting for 4 day's. Tomorrow will be warm enough for a range day, Bang.
  18. Bikes are standing by ready to ride when this short term cold snap breaks. It's now time to do annual maintenance on the John Deer Z-Turn. Edit: More of a 4 year tear down Heavy maintenance.
  19. Tony may not show it but he has a hidden good side. It's a survival type ride, abuse not advised. Next year it is then.
  20. Weather permitting, I could be up for this.
  21. Me to, I hope the weather cooperates. You could rent your bike to Jim (Jshaft).
  22. KAT-500 or 3 Day 1/2KAT. Due to a few relationship good deeds I have acquired few kitchen passes that I must use. I was thinking about the TOT Lap but I just can't give up a opportunity to again ride The east side of the KAT in the late fall. This gives me a window of 5-6 day's (16NOV-20NOV) to ride down and do the Big Bike 3 Day KAT500.This starts in Williamson, WVa. Counter clockwise to Jackson, KY. drops south to Harlen, KY. returns up to Williamson/Home. Anyone interested let me know if not fine. This section is doable alone.
  23. Without question, moderately priced and make it to fit me and my uses. I had 20 to spend in 2014 and fitted two bikes and gear.
  24. Had a great ride with two riders. Did a mix of roads and some of WNF trails too. Got in a little deep on Peacock road down off SR50 that started out fine but went away after awhile. we were able to ride out thru a farm field to the street. No Music just raw clip.
