I'm beginning to think Tim's old girlfriend found comfort in the arms of a mini bike racer.

Is Tuesday an option?

I honestly don't know why this is even still a discussion for a street bike. Cool video, thanks for posting it.

Always the final race of the year in October. Usually an endurance race then too. Need teammates, @TimTheAzn... 2 hr race, must have at least 2 riders, as many as 4, each rider must race at least 30 minutes. Good time.

Going to race it? OMRL this weekend at G&J and October 6 at Circleville. Some other groms and Z125s are regulars. You could race against my clapped out XR in the F3 class...

So @TMC Customs how was the day? Did you go?

I lost track of how many I used this year... got myself into a pickle last time. Have one cert now and then the free day left. Putnam coming up in a couple weeks also. Up in the air about a gap trip or MidO on my birthday next month.

Mid-Ohio Track Day 9-3-18 (Labor Day)
jacobhawkins replied to DerekClouser's topic in Track is Crack
You plan to be there any time soon again? I'll be there a few more times this season, come over and say hey! There must have been two or three other guys between us. -
I turn 30 on Oct. 15. Would be a fun way to celebrate. Similarly piqued interest.

Yep, when folks are looking to spend a couple hundred at a crack, it'd be nice. -

I think Gwen is overworked and couldn't be at the phones as much as normal. -

Good day overall. His wrist is broken, assume finger as well, but he didn't confirm that. Also, a "foreign body" inside his shoulder. Going to let everything heal on it's own, no surgery. -

Well my buddy didn't get the requested info. Maybe when Justin goes tomorrow he can check on Monday's status. -

Friday was like a regular PTR, IAN, 20 minute sessions, no lunch. I used a twilight cert and had to pay an extra $10. Not a late fee, but they charge more for these days. Have fun! Hope the track is dry! We are getting hammered her in Columbus, more water than I've seen at this house before! -

When I talked to Gwen yesterday it sounded like there was plenty of space. A buddy will be talking with Mark today anyway, I'll see if he can get a registration update. -

@Limitedslip7 suggested pushing 0 to get to the operator. Worked for me. I think Gwen is just waaaaay overworked and was away from her regular phone. -

Track was great today, cars didn't muck it all up. Cant wait to see ya'll Monday! I rode Mike's S1000RR on MR12 for a few laps. Have mercy, that thing is fast, amazing brakes, incredible bike. If I got a full session in and I think I could put in one hell of a best lap. -

Motor rebuild after floated valve, what to look for?
jacobhawkins replied to jacobhawkins's topic in Tech and Tips
When I roll out of the dealership on my Daytona I'll let everyone know all about it. At this point, I know some members here work there and don't need to bring that kind of scrutiny to anything. -
Nice to see ya on here! 52s on a 125 would be amazing.

Motor rebuild after floated valve, what to look for?
jacobhawkins replied to jacobhawkins's topic in Tech and Tips
I stopped by the dealer yesterday to check on the progress and see if they'd ordered anything yet. Turns out they have, and nearly everything is in. Couple big things still on order, a crank and a connecting rod, and some smaller stuff like specific bolts and a bearing or two. I talked to another friend about this, and he said that Triumph has never had crate motors for anything, ever. Weird. Haven't confirmed that independently though. The service writers showed me the order sheet for the parts, and it's literally as if they went down the BikeBandit assembly for the engine and clicked "add to shopping cart" for everything. The parts retail north of $8k. I quickly ran back the mechanic's bay and gave him a thumbs up. I'm thinking a month. -
Haha sorry! I'll quit littering this thread, over in the tech section we go!
