  1. Welcome, glad you're on here. TJ will help you find what you need.
  2. If it's not a Pani V4, or some other ultra premium sport bike, they ought to let you ride one, or find a recent used one to demo. I bought my Daytona without riding one, but I did ride Tim's previous gen around the paddock at Mid Ohio to get some idea. So whatcha getting???
  3. Sounds like you all had a good time, sorry I missed it. Beautiful day to be outside!
  4. Yep, as of now I plan to be there. Tentatively drive out Friday after work, camp then ride Saturday. Hang out in the evening and drive home Sunday.
  5. Need a condor trailer chock. Thanks, TJ.
  6. Haha! Offroad bike will be a Jap bike for sure.
  7. Well I didn't ride my bike today, but rode the hell out of @B-Mac's Vstrom and a friend's Africa Twin in my first ADV ride. It was an absolute blast sliding around in the gravel and climbing up some hills. I clearly have a lot of work to do in the low speed maneuverability and control stuff but man was it fun. I was laughing and hollering in my helmet much of this afternoon. Thanks for leading a great route!
  8. I'll bring my gopro, I need documentation of this.

Yeah!! Footage of the race anywhere?
  12. Welcome, what kind of long rides do you do? @Blitz
  13. No more icky glycol coolant and stock bodywork. Should have the track stuff on this time next week.
  14. Cool, 36" chest, 32" waist, 34" hips, 32.5" inseam. 5'11" 160 lbs. What do you suggest? Currently in a Teknik 42. Ball area is tight, chest and arms are good. Looking at the chart I linked to I have no idea what to do...
  15. This. Same day parts are their use for me. Ordering parts is not quick, pretty slow actually considering they ought to be getting daily parts delivery from every supplier.
  16. Where might a person find a sizing chart for the RST leathers? https://www.rst-moto.com/media/rst-mens-suit-size-chart.pdf
  17. I think it looks pretty cool. . Not a modular helmet guy, but the color is something I'd go for.
  18. HJC. $100 for a Snell rated helmet?! My first helmet was an HJC like this, not as comfortable as my Shoeis or Bells, but they are freakin cheap and do the job. https://www.ridersdiscount.com/hjc-fg-17-fg17-thrust-full-face-helmet-198819 https://www.ridersdiscount.com/hjc-cl-17-cl17-striker-full-face-motorcycle-helmet-231555 That being said, some idea on your buddy's budget would be helpful. If he's going to spend $400 or so, look at those Star Carbons. I've loved my last two and one took a nasty impact from a highside. I bought it's replacement from Mike the following week.
  19. No grass on the track now, but we had a fair bit of dirt and dust in the last corner before the checkered flag. When they put the dirt track in it really screwed things up for that corner. No drainage and everything runs off the banking onto the road course. Usually there are some folks from the club with brooms and shovels and leaf blowers out there before practice to clean it up.
  20. Exactly, I want to be racing someone, in front, middle, back, doesn't matter. Push to get faster and try things. It's all about sucking just a little less next time.
