  1. I'm out for Sunday. I'll probably go out tomorrow regardless, if it's skechy, I'll go slow.
  2. Hey, Rob! Nice to see ya on here. Give Hoblick a shout for sure, he's a good guy and a pretty short drive to Marysville. Also, Dad gave the XR to Mom and she putts around the back on it. I guess he though yours was too nice to wreck so he picked up a newer one to race.
  3. The ninja would be too big, but come on out anyway. These are the classes: http://ohiominiroadracingleague.com/about/race-classes/ It's a great time, and yes, they do have open track days.
  4. Well I had a great time yesterday! Brought my buddy out for the first time and he's shopping for an XR now. I was running lap times consistent with where I was at the end of last season so I feel good about that. Thanks for helping to get so many people out, Chris, VMD should be fun too!
  5. Yeah, I was with Jesse. Probably met in the transition in the Saturday morning craziness... Agreed, I think the TUs and the dual sports are the way to go, the pegs under your body makes for easier (in my opinion) maneuverability, but I've seen guys rail on cruisers so I know it's all possible with proper technique!
  6. Glad you had a good time at class today! I was coaching on the range closer to the bike shed... After you get some miles on the new bike, you might give the BRC-2 or the ARC a look. It's fun to do those classes on a new bike and get to know it a little better. Also, welcome to OR, lot of good people here.
  7. Thanks for the Photoshop job, but why don't you guys smile? I was having a great time!
  8. Welcome, glad you came out yesterday, I think you'll fit in nicely with the rides organized here.
  9. I'll let Blitz post the route, but road conditions for 95% for me. Couple small bits of gravel, but nearly perfect.
  10. Home. Awesome day, thanks for leading Blitz and for brining along Jonathan, hope he joins OR. Hope everybody makes it home shortly. Woohoo!
  11. Sounds good, thanks. See you in a bit.
  12. I'm there man. I need to get some time in on this new bike, and as Tim can attest to, I'm a giant pussy now. I'll follow, happy to sweep, or meet up at the road changes. I might be a touch after 12, 12:15 likely, if you can wait a few, otherwise I'll catch up at a gas stop.
  13. Brian, looks like you guys had a great day! Back home now, rained almost as soon as we left Shawn's... Perfect timing I guess. Thank for leading, Shawn, I need some more time to get comfortable with this stupid thing but I was glad to get out.
  14. Hey, I'm still planning on getting at least to Shawn's, if it looks like shit, I'll go back home. Some time on the bike is better than none right now.
  15. Sounds good, I have no interest in getting rained on either.
  16. Great, I got Shawn's address. See you guys there.
  17. Yeah, but still don't know where that is. MaxPower, where to, man? Tim, I'm thinking no later than 5 to get to his place based on rough road coordinates. Ben, see you at his place, I'm not planning on stopping at Circle K at this point?
  18. That'd work for me. PM me your address and I'll see you there. I'll be in leathers, but don't need to push it much at all to have a good time tomorrow. I'm still trying to figure out what to replace my old gear with and that's all I have. A buddy from work may follow along in his car if you guys are OK with that. He's a good driver (autocross) etc.
  19. Great! Will do. I'll post up before leaving the Circle K.
  20. Also, won't be leaving work early on Wednesday, which I think was my karmic downfall last time! Haha
  21. Thanks for the heads up, I figured there would be some of that. I'll be taking it pretty easy. Hey, you coming up to see the new ODPS classrooms tonight?
  22. This week is going to be great! If things are looking good on Wednesday I'll be leaving right after work (4:05) from Columbus and making a quick loop through Hocking. Back home by 8 at the latest. This will be my first time really out with the new bike so I'll be running a solid Medium pace if anybody else wants to join in. I anticipate taking 33 out of town, I'll be at the Circle K at 70 and 33 by 4:30. I'll top off at the gas station across from 374 also, probably be there by 5:15 depending on traffic.
