  1. So this has been a project my dad and I have been working on. It is a restored Kompact Kamp Motorcycle Trailer. This trailer has brand new hubs, brand new bearings, brand new seals, brand new wheels/tires, and brand new 5 pin connector and wire loom. The frame, axle, and jack have all been sanded and painted. It is ready to haul way too much of your junk with you on the motorcycle $1000 More pics in the craigslist ad. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/5604516201.html
  2. THIS. This is why i got rid of mine. The fear of the ABS unit failing and costing an ungodly amount of money to fix. Also known for transmission seals trashing the clutch (Mine was replaced when I bought it).
  3. That's about what I paid for my K1200RS, non-police, same mileage.
  4. I got to work on some fine Italian engineering tonight. Definitely different than most bikes I have worked on.
  5. +1 on 377, one of my favorite sections. Chesterhill to Ringgold is the section I really hope they repave this summer.
  6. I had nothing but problems with GoPro Studio. It kept locking up. I am using Premiere CS5 now.
  7. 555 is definitely not in perfect shape, but there are several goods roads going through Chesterhill.
  8. Don't knock it til you try it. One day of riding one and your back and shoulders will be sold.
  9. For those who wondered what 83 on the southern end looked like, here is Shoop and I's ride up from Beverly on 83.
  10. Well. Apparently I forgot to hit record on the GoPro when I was leaving Dollar General. Looks like I only have footage on the ride up in the morning.
  11. Just rolled in to the house. 285 miles total for me. Thanks Derek for a very well organized ride.
  12. Good call on postponing the ride. One downpour after another down here in SEO.
  13. I have a Handy electric lift with this vise. They are very nice. GLWS
  14. Why not ride both days? If it rains Saturday, it can be a recon ride and come back Sunday and ride it again.
  15. I got my dad a Nelson Rigg Rain Suit for christmas. For being under $100, their really nice.
  16. I am running an A Spec rear right now. Mounted it up a week or two ago. I really couldn't tell a difference other that maybe a stiffer sidewall. They claim it is an extra ply. My bike is 640 wet weight, so i figured I should try the A Spec.
  17. I've heard this from several people, some were still finding PR2s that they liked alot.
  18. I just realized I've been a member of this forum for exactly 2 years today. Oh how time flies.
  19. Pinwall Cycle has one in stock. Their in Massillon. http://pinwallcycle.com/product_info.php?cPath=16161_16166_171_2116_11535&products_id=118437
  20. Heavy Sport touring bikes just chew tires in general. FJR guys haven't had good of luck with T30s. PR4 is a great tire, just a bit pricey, so I'm sticking with Angel GT's.
  21. Posers are everywhere, the only way to get away from them is out of town. I have a friend that wears shorts all the time when riding, and always insists on revving his bike when going through town. These are also the people who have a bike for a year or two and the "Coolness" wears off and they sell their bike with a thousand or two miles on them.
  22. When I wore contacts, i always rode with visor down, chin curtain in. My contacts didn't like the wind very well, plus I have allergies. Now, i have perfect vision without any contacts or glasses. Lasik is worth every penny...
  23. Lol that too. I can't say much, my BMW was tore apart more often than any bike I've ever owned.
