I am posting this for a friend of mine. He bought this bike as his first motorcycle. He has given up on riding. The bike has just over 500 miles on it, never dropped. Has frame sliders. Yeah, its definitely more comfortable the lean on than my old Cortech bag. It uses the Givi Tanklock system.

Yeah the gen 2 fairings were a bit of a hassle. Gen 3 fairings no longer have this issue. I went from a BMW k-bike to the FJR so it feels nimble to me.

For what Sport Touring bikes are designed for, they all do it really well. That's what makes it so hard to choose between them. I do find it odd the Honda ST has no love in the major reviews.

Of course I am bias, but the FJR is a great bike. It is my first motorcycle that if i totaled today, I would go buy another.

Just ordered a new Givi tank bag due to my Cortech bag zippers decided to fail. Tank bags are just too darn convenient.

I just made it home. Made some wrong turns and took a very odd route home. I got burnt some, but not too bad. It was fun hanging out with you guys.

I walked through some of the swap meet and then drooled over bikes in the pits. Decided to sit down and watch some bikes on track.

I'm leaving the Coolville with a group of old guys around 7am, should be there around 10:00-10:30.

+1 on this. Can't wait to get out on the bike and find a place with no phone/internet service and twisty roads.
