I still have another week's vacation, id like to get another planned for September(Tonik's Colorado trip has me really wanting to go west). I'm doing Skyline Drive/Virginia Beach with my parents in August.

Just got my vacation approved for another Gap Trip in 3 weeks.

Thanks for the heads up on that, I almost forgot. Sounds like a good day to stay south for me.

+1 on 78, one of my favorites. I was at Old Man's Cave a few weeks ago. I can't recall if it was fresh pavement on that section or not, but i saw no spots on 56 that were bad. I remember it being clean, and busy with people hiking and in vans.

Oh, I have no problems with talking to someone on the phone, but the voice commands are a pain IMO. Not that big of a deal for @2talltim and I, we both have the Sena handlebar remotes.

+1 on giving up on VOX, it just isn't going to be perfect with the amount of wind noise.

I started a little sticker project. After seeing @2talltim and @Danimal with all their cool stickers on their bikes, I wanted to start my own collection.

144 south of Stewart is all fresh pavement, but it might still be under water in some places after all that rain.

I always considered the VFR as a sportbike with luggage. It is definitely one of the furthest to the sport side of sport touring IMO. Amazing bikes with an awesome sounding motor.

My dad's Ultra has factory heated grips. I have never seen a heated grip get so hot, them suckers can cook you.

Wow I knew I shouldn't have opened this thread. The way I've always looked at any kind of finance is, did the bank get their money? If not, then the repossession and sale of the property pays off the loan. If that's not enough, they come back asking for more money. It doesn't magically go away. Not to sound like a dick, but if I lost my job, I'd be selling my financed vehicles to pay off my loans, not sit on them for years.

Wow, good to see your gear did it's job. Sucks about the bike though. Hopefully everything comes out ok.
