  1. Hey guys, as some of you know, I work for an Indian Motorcycle Dealership down here on the border of Ohio and West Virginia. This Friday and Saturday, we are having Demo Days with Indian Motorcycles. Saturday we're also having a local BBQ Truck come in and sell food. So if you wanna take an Indian for a spin, or just stop by and grab some lunch, come on by.
  2. How often do you see people pay full MSRP for an Arai? Seems like they are always marked down.
  3. Welcome back, it has been a little quiet lately but wait til the warm weather kicks in.
  4. What's up Brad, it was good riding SEO roads with you today. I'm sure there will be plenty of SEO rides coming soon.
  5. Rode the MT for 170 miles or so. Got back home and washed the FJR. Then decided to take the FJR for a short ride. This was the first time riding the FJR since getting the MT. Wow, the bikes are incredibly different, but in a good way. Also noticed my top case has a crack in it.
  6. First time on the table. Rotella on sale at Oreillys BTW.
  7. Still less electronic bullshit than modern sportbikes...
  8. Alright @RidersDiscount humor me with a quote for a neotec 2 and a Sena system with it. Gonna try to get another year out of my neotec though.
  9. I decided it was time to check the brake pads on the FJR. 41k miles and they look like this.
  10. If you're going to be doing more than a few days on a trip, the trunk is a very nice convenience. It took me some time to get used to my case on the interstate. The wind kinda moves you around more. Anymore, I forget it's even back there and I see myself keeping it on the FJR more often. I know the Connies have some different mounting options. @2talltim can explain (I think the stock is a plastic mount and they make a metal mount, and some people swear the plastic breaks easy or something like that)
  11. Took the fairings off the FJR for the first time ever. Definitely going to be spending some time cleaning.
  12. Just to fill everyone in, 556 is currently closed, and you cannot get to Beallsville from route 7. 536 had several single lane stop light areas. 260 was severely dirty and that odd chip/seal color where you can't notice the gravel. 26 still has some mud residue from the flooding.
  13. Just got back to the house. 300 miles on the dot. Stopped and picked up an oil filter on the way home. Turned over 600 miles so now it's time for a first service. Awesome riding today guys. Weather was perfect, roads were decent, and traffic wasn't terrible.
  14. Damn that sucks to hear man. Never a fun time losing a pet.
  15. OK, another tank of fuel ran through the MT tonight. Made it 107 miles and still hasn't turned the low fuel light on. Rode the exact same route as the last tank, rode it like a hooligan just like the last tank. I think I just didn't get it all the way full last time.
  16. So what @Tonik is trying to say is, he loves to chat with people via communicator, and be sure to pair with him as soon as you see him.
  17. The bike is varies alot depending on riding style. It gets decent mileage cruising on the highway, but I am in break-in period. So I've been fluctuating rpms on twisty roads.
  18. No, definitely not. Good thing I got the FJR for easy 200+ mile stints.
