  1. I have 3 questions for each nights accomodations, cause I know @Connie14 wants to know. 1. Where's the closest liquor store? 2. What time is breakfast? 3. What time does the pool close?
  2. I expected the Rockie Mountains to be a little Rockier than this...
  3. We were probably 20 miles or less from Virginia and 30 miles from Maryland at one point. I can hit alot of different states in one day.
  4. In recent rides, we have had issues with losing a rider or two (One was an OR ride, one was not). Knowing the route can help with this, but people still make mistakes. I think if your gonna have more than 5 in a group, someone is gonna have to wait to atleast see the last person, just to make sure no one got lost. I had to chase down a guy for 10 miles because he missed a turn. Luckily I knew the area or he would have been in Woodsfield while we were on Route 7. He had no idea where he was or where he was going. If you don't know the route, let your group know. This way they don't leave you stranded.
  5. 470 miles today. Only 7 miles of interstate. What a great day. Avoiding rain and o my got spinkles.
  6. Rode 200 miles today. No headset or distractions, just good ole wind therapy. I havent road without atleast music olaying for awhile. It was nice to just shut off the world and blast through backroads. Got back to the house and swapped out rear tires for a ride tomorrow.
  7. I will be going on a WV ride tomorrow if anyone wants to join. Route is not set in stone, most likely gonna hit Seneca Rocks area. We will be meeting at the Park n Ride on the Staunton Ave exit on rt 47 in Parkersburg. I doubt anyone is interested, but I figured I would post it so people can't cry about not getting invited...
  8. I did this ride last year without heated gear. I now have a Gerbing jacket liner because of this trip.
  9. I've ridden 536 alot, but I still struggle to find that rhythm through the entire stretch of road. I actually enjoy 556 just as much if not more. It's a little more open and less tight and technical.
  10. The Marathon has good space, that's about it. Restroom was working but you had to go get a key. Not much snack selection. I've never been to that Fuel Mart but it sounds like a better location. BTW: Ya'll suck. I wish I was going on this ride. I'm free Sunday if anyone wants to hit it 2 days in a row.
  11. This Indians/Red Sox game has been a good one.
  12. Just made my single most expensive motorcycle accessory purchase. It's coming from Duluth, MN...
  13. Congrats on the new bike! The big ole Connie will certainly surprise you. All day comfort and can hold its own on the twisties.
  14. Of course you picked a draft time an hour after my other draft. Hopefully my work league can finish a draft in an hour, or its gonna get hectic for me.
  15. To safety wire, or to not safety wire? That is the real question.
  16. Why on earth would you want to try to install a used grip that you paid $5 for? You can buy a factory new one for $10. Or just simply walk into any of your local dealers and pick up a set of off the shelf aftermarket grips for less than $20 and be happy.
  17. Nope, they're still cash only (I haven't eaten there this year, but did in 2016).
  18. I've been over in the Beallsville & Woodsfield area 3 times in the last 2 weekends. I need to venture a little further north and check these out.
  19. I know you had stuff setup last year, so if you don't mind running it, we can give it another try. On my Yahoo league, it allows an 8 man league.
  20. Free, money scares too many people off. Been down that road with my work league.
  21. Anyone interested in a 2017 Fantasy Football League?
