Seems like the hub should be warmer than the rotor if the bearing was the heat source. Could check the axle temp.

After a 5 mile ride today in much cooler air temp front disc 81f rear disc 125f disc side hub 125 chain side hub 95f chain /sprocket 98f It does look like i'm losing freeplay in the pedal/rod when it's hot.

I also added a grommet to hook on an underseat D-ring "lock". I did get a helmet with narrower than average d rings once. damn that made them harder to fiddle with. Been getting regular updates then today I get a prompt to upgrade win10 to win10. This was a tech preview install I expected to be fully patched by now. I did switch off the fast track pre release builds after the "retail" release. I stopped paying attention to the build # when they stopped being watermarked on the desktop. (Old Hardware waiting for fixes related maybe?)
