  1. Lots of 2nd gen SVr's (70hp) move onto Street Triples(96hp) you should have plenty with the Speed (122hp). If I was going after a bike the fz09(107hp) would get a test ride to see what it offers at its unbeatable price.
  2. Cable only? what's next pay per view weight classed debates?
  3. Swapped out my stunt regulator on my 03 Tuono (25,000 miles) to an cheap ebay FA012 mosfet shunt from a wrecked R1. fins actually have a tiny bit of rash and connector was cracked. Just used spade connections and hot glue to the unit and cut out the Brown Connector off and used crimped splices and shrinkwrap. Today instead of half my subframe being "HotPlate" it's now body temp and more importantly I get charging voltage higher then 13.5V at high rpm. I should have read it with an infrared thermometer on it before the swap. I ran my old lead battery just in case and am swapping my WPS featherweight LIPO back in now. I wonder if there wasn't a bad quality wire supplier around 99/2000 a lot of bikes have bad rectifiers and the ones I've chopped have had patina looking colored copper. I'm also a VFR failed stator veteran.
  4. Yep Italian vehicles are best. Funny story I once made a guy driving a porche's head turn as I rode by on my bicycle.

  7. Cellphone drivers (women) who use their other "free" hand to gesture so the caller understands them better ? I shouldn't be surprised.

Hold on! "Microsoft's operating system ships with a lot of services that users are already familiar with and dependent upon (e.g., OneNote, Outlook, Word, Excel). Windows 10 makes it clear that anything you do in these apps can (and likely will) be scanned, parsed, and sold to advertisers. Your emails, messages and documents -- nothing is off limit" http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/04/opinions/gosier-microsoft-windows-10/index.html that wasn't made clear to me. Come find me in the Mint 17 thread from now on.

I had the tech preview and a few days before the retail release the build number disappeared but nothing's said if i'm on the release build or still pending. ? But I don't care much for it anyway. Maybe still need proper touchpad and video drivers
  13. I've been doored by a female asian passenger...
  14. I'd cover my tank with a layer carbon fiber if it wasn't already stretched, Or even just a loop/belt to limit expansion in the mounting point plane. But isn't it worth it to say you have a gas tank MADE out of Dinosaurs while blowing up dinosaur remains!
  15. Put the cover over it and light a bug bomb. I read the other day Mosquito pollinate cacao in the tropics
  16. You have to include in your calculation the cost of not enforcing it and the accidents/injuries/deaths resulting. Then there's all the people cops would shoot after they are assaulted by drivers pissed off @ being caught. Seats have sensors for the airbags could block phones unless the passenger sensor is triggered. Idiot drivers don't just occasionally make a mistake. if you continue watching them it's a constant theme. Like the middle aged asian lady in a minivan this morning: She pulled out from a stop sign in front of a car that had to hit their brakes, she went around a non blind curve fully on the opposite side of the road with a car coming around the curve in the opposite direction, then she swung wide into the opposite lane on a right turn at the next intersection.
  17. Need to ticket them as a "citizen's arrest" as there's not enough cops around to dock them all. Or make technology that disables phones when the car is running passengers be damned.
  18. What little faith I have left in drivers is fleeting fast. Car ended up on berm on the wrong side of the road somehow. Houses and street signs are also fair game targets around here.
  19. "Hero MotoCorp’s US subsidiaries HMCL NA and HMCL Americas have signed a settlement in this regard with the receiver appointed by the Circuit Court, Wisconsin, US." Companies I've worked for that went into Receivership didn't give us sh!t for insider information.
  20. another story today with the price for "certain assets" by hero at 2.8 million http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/hero-motocorp-to-buy-assets-of-bankrupt-us-company-115072800518_1.html
  21. Was the tiger SV650 offer a red herring?
  22. Because 50hp At legal speeds dual disc bikes don't need them but at the speeds they're capable of ,they do.
