was shopping for new end of season pants as I haven't worn mine all summer with a tight waist. Was looking at reviews for size comparison and read about waist cinch straps. Checked mine and sho nuff they were cinched and forgotten. they fit now. I probably would have already bought more except they are mesh with kevlar and discontinued .

Wider tires get pinched if not on a wider rim. Multi compound should do better if you aren't on them.

Finally figured out the drivetrain drag in the recumbent frameset i'm setting up wasn't the 2 chains, power idler, or multi axis return idler. Turns out 9sp FWD forks handmade by a 1 man company may not be 11sp compatible without modifications. The cassette lockring was rubbing a fork weld but the drag varied as it turned like a stuck chain link.

Athens Stroud Park the other week thunderbunny and hollowpoint. Pretty rugged and eroded. 2hrs at Lake Hope Saturday. 6 miles of the same stuff with some large roots but Wildcat is one of my favorite trails in ohio. Sidewinder looked like it didn't get much attention. Only rode half the mileage there.
