Not the tire. The valve stem. I don’t replace them every time I change a tire. I picked up a new stem tonight. Now I just need to find the time to replace it. Guess I didn’t describe the issue very well.

Went to air up the front tire on the CBR for the maiden voyage of this year. That things pretty well dry rotted. It started leaking air like a sieve. I guess it’s best that happened here in my garage and not on the road. Still a bummer though.

Nice car @Not Brian

New wing is in the future hopefully. Spending my money on a 28x40 outbuilding this summer. I’ve never had the CBR hit 🤷♂️.

Sorry-double post

My passenger really slows me down. My wife gives me quite the nudge when she feels we’re going too fast. Since I want her to continue to ride I back off and just laugh.

Shoot I’m frustrated I can’t go faster with the wing on the street. I used to wonder if I’d be better off with a slower bike. I now know I prefer a bike that is above what I’m willing to push it to. Dragging pegs was scary on the Concours. When the Wing touches down and unweights the rearend that is beyond scary.

Installed a new vented windshield on the goldwing.

Be careful with that number 57 limestone. I threw that down last year for some base for a garage I plan to build in the future. When I park on it now after it rains, it makes a mess. Has a tendency to stick to car tires and shoes. It’s the small tiny pieces of it that stick. On the other hand, I have multiple drives I built out of crushed asphalt and it’s awesome. It’s solid as a rock and it has almost melted together as paved asphalt. It’s not the prettiest stuff but it’s really functional.

It didn’t seem top heavy just flinging it around standing over it. The Kawasaki Concours, that was top heavy. At speed that Kaw could chew up some asphalt though. Man I miss that bike.

My dad just bought a Sportster 1200. It was delivered to his house Saturday. 1st Harley I ever sat on. It felt surprisingly light. I only sat on it and started it. I could only laugh as it sat there shaking and vibrating under my butt. Not for me, but he’s excited. No he won’t be riding it with me. I’m scared enough for him to be back on 2 wheels. I don’t need to have him trying to follow me and my antics.

It’s so weird for me to see a valve train on the side. Anything I’ve ever worked on has always been on top.

My dad picked up a 2006 Goldwing trike this summer. It looks similar to what you have there in that picture of the black one. I rode it home for him and I didn’t find it particularly difficult to ride. I did try to corner aggressively on it. I definitely shifted my weight and such but you’re for sure not taking corners as you would on a motorcycle. It didn’t feel tippy to me at all. Definitely took more arm strength however than riding a two wheeled bike.

It’s right down the road from my house.

Couldn’t resist. My thoughts are with all the rain we had recently the salt was pretty much gone from the roads. Fun times. I also love the new door lights I installed.

We’ll have to make it happen this summer.

Dude thanks for helping me out years ago with positioning and turning me onto Keith Code. I learned so much from your 30 second, “hey man I don’t want to tell you you’re doing it wrong, but you should be cornering with your head in you’re mirror. Try it, Keith Code is the guy I listen to”. I split from the group at that point because I had to be home and immediately tried to implement what you were saying. Noticed a difference right away. Then I read Twist of the Wrist 2 and found all kinds of things to work on. What a learning curve it’s been. Thanks for being willing to share your knowledge. Hope all is well.

The Goldwing in its current state Spotted this on marketplace and it gave me some inspiration. Started the transformation with removal of some parts awhile back. Did some priming and painting today. Cleaned up some chrome accent piece as well. Before cleaning and after photo. I’ll pull the wheels and tires after Christmas. Santa is bringing me a motorcycle jack for this pig.
