  1. It's not even functional, only for looks! The 250+ tire conversions have been proven to slow the bike down. Another poser mod...... graemlins/jerkit.gif
  2. I prefer function over looks! graemlins/thumbsdown.gif It's okay if your into the show bike thing but it's not for me. graemlins/nonono.gif
  3. graemlins/wtf.gif It was just a JOKE, relax! graemlins/thumb.gif That's why I said this: " The 600cc bikes are so close these days that it all depends on what kind of feel you want ." I was just messing with you because the choices he gave were a R6 or ZX-6R. At no time was a HONDA mentioned but if you're going to get all butt hurt about it fine. graemlins/jerkit.gif Have a nice day! graemlins/popcorn.gif P.S....have you gotten your bike yet?
  4. That doesn't have anything to do with the bike. That's more like newbies without enough skill trying shit they shouldn't. graemlins/doh.gif
  5. http://www.amasuperbike.com/article.php?UID=6dCwXh484NUbJv1R4ob3YQVsH7hVzJ&sc=1132&aid=1044 Yep....that's why SUZUKI is dominating right now! Where is Honda???? The only thing they are even close in is MotoGP and they are second behind what....YAMAHA! http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/results/results_2760.htm?event_id=2760&subevent_id=5019&result=35214 It's really pointless in comparison anyway because your bike is about as close to those as....your daily driver is to an F1 car. Just curious but where did you get your results from????? Personal preference! graemlins/lol.gif
  6. It pretty much comes down to your taste. The 600cc bikes are so close these days that it all depends on what kind of feel you want. Since they won't let you test ride them, you are pretty much limited to sitting on them. Unless you have friends with both bikes and they will let you compare. I would go with the R6 if it was me. I have ridden about a dozen of them. Great bikes, good power(for a 6), comfortable, handles great, etc...the list goes on and on. Plus I have never had any problems with any of the R6's I have seen or ridden on and my R1 never gave me any problems. If you are looking at the 636 it will be faster and have more power but they can't really be considered in the same leage IMO. But for the increased displacement it should. I have never really been a Kwak fan, might think about the ZX-10 but nothing else from the green team for me. Other than overall feel it boils down to looks! If you want the undertail pipe, diff colors, etc...the ZX-6 mayb be what you want. Other than that they are damn close and you really can't go wrong with either. Josh
  7. Many car spots but I can't remember them off hand. I would get a hold of someone from Scandalous Racing or one of the local shops. They would be better for that with the rotating locations. Since everyone else is posting NON-car hot spots, I will add these. Blue Man group is cool if you haven't seen it before on the North side. Not far from Ed Debevic's (great food and fun time)! Second City is great if you like comedy. A lot of famous comedians started out with them. Awesome shows! Sears Tower John Hancock observatory (I proposed to my fiancee during dinner, awesome food and view) Lots of great stuff what else are you looking for????

  12. Cool! I take it you know Linn.35, Andrew, The Vette, etc...? I'll be over there for the Viper run then also. Maybe we can do a few that night! graemlins/thumb.gif
  13. I'm more of a Coke/Beer guy than a pat on the back....j/k. Good luck!
  14. I wouldn't try anymore of those fuels. U4 is all you'll ever need for your mods but don't use it with spray! I forgot what is recommended with SPRAY but I do remember no highly oxygenated fuels!
  15. I wish I could get together this weekend but I can't. I won't be available in C-bus for racing until mid July at the earliest. I have work and then I get married and leave on the honeymoon. graemlins/leghump.gif I'll take the 2-bikes and the role....j/k...I am not stock anymore! graemlins/burnout02.gif I'd rather run you straight up and see what they really run like. I just want a base line....no oxy fuel or other tricks! Unless you plan to SPRAY? [ 15. June 2005, 03:21 PM: Message edited by: Got-Busa? ]
  16. The 05's are exactly the same size. Even more than the 01's! Take a ruler with you, I'm not BS'n you!
  17. I guess we'll never know unless we role'em. graemlins/nod.gif Why all the Busa hatred on here? graemlins/wtf.gif The Busa fits my needs. Decent power, better TORQUE, good 2-up, and everything in between. You can't really use much more handling on the street anyway. If you are riding that radical all the time, you aren't going to live long! graemlins/nonono.gif
  18. No prob.....just as long as he knows the consequences. If he cuts corners on cost now he's going to pay for it in the end. Better safe than sorry IMO! graemlins/nod.gif If that's not his priority then spray away! graemlins/thumb.gif
  19. Dyno #'s aren't everything people make them out to be. I have seen too many bikes slapped around on the street with nice dyno #'s. I'm talking about PUMP GAS, oxy fuel is another ball game! graemlins/jerkit.gif
  20. Easy bud....from the post above he said you have a pipe. In my mind, that's a full system! If it's just a slip-on no big deal. Just wondering what other mods it had if any? Now comparing dyno numbers is pointless but whatever....floats your boat. I think I got you covered though SAE "stock"! But hey if you want to tangle that's fine. I haven't raced a 05 yet. Then again, I just have a heavy ass Cadillac-busa. I think all those stickers I added might have helped a little! graemlins/lol.gif
  21. Like I said a window switch so you don't blow it up! If you want to get serious you need a progressive controller. Otherwise the wanna-be fast and furious button push doesn't get the most out of the system or the bike. IMO....you will get a lot more out of it if you learn to ride. Otherwise, all the nitrous in the world isn't going to make you faster. Wheelies, Traction, shifts, weight, etc... all come into play a lot more once you add more power!
  22. I am not talking about an activation switch! I am talking a max RPM switch so when he misses a gear, the Nitrous shuts OFF! Otherwise he could blow it on the first missed shift.
  23. What are you running with the bike now???? Dear lord, just make sure they install a window switch and have it tuned on the dyno before you spray it AT ALL! Please...don't blow that thing up.
  24. Uh.....?????? graemlins/wtf.gif (Dr. Evil) Riiiiiiight! graemlins/lol.gif
  25. I don't really see how you lost peak HP by having a custom map??? Something isn't right, you should have gained if anything. It would have just been smoother up until then????
