  1. That isn't correct! You need to put a stabilizer in it and top the tank off to keep it from rusting. All the info you need---> http://www.i4at.org/surv/sta-bil.htm
  2. 7's in the 1/8th......BAAAHHHHAAA..... P.S......Daddy's toys don't count!
  3. Did you produce the ATM stub for the police? Since that has a time and date on it, I would think she would be pretty stupid to argue that...
  4. You can if the dealer is willing to let it go at employee price. They can deny it if they want on specialty vehicles (Z06, SVT, etc.) but a good dealer won't.
  5. BBBAAAHHHHHAAAA.....my uncles brothers sistes dad has a jet car and you'll all looooze...yo!
  6. Ditto.....that video is awesome. We need to see more stuff that you have done. Interested in making one for my BUSA?
  7. It's just like every other specialty car that comes out. The rich idiots that want to be first on the block are the only people paying those prices. Otherwise, shop around and you can find one for MSRP or below NOW. IMO....I would just wait until Mar/Apr anyway and get one fresh out of the factory. No need to pay all that money NOW for it to just sit in your garage all winter long.
  8. In a world of sofas, I would say it's more like a love seat and a liter bike is the recliner. j/k My wife loves riding on the BUSA. I have never had a girl tell me she liked riding on the back of my CBR900RR or R1.
  9. This coming from a guy that drives a Toyota and a Cavalier.... :jerkit:
  10. I hate to break the bad news but that isn't a photoshop. That really is how ugly it looks. http://www.kawasaki.com/media/news/details.asp?articleID=303&catID=&catDesc= Check out the ZX-10, it looks pretty similar. Why does everyone think it's like riding a sofa? Have you even ridden a ZX-12? The ZX-14 isn't that much different than the current ZX-12 under all that plastic. Riding a sofa....HA..! Ride a Harley, Goldwing, FJ-13, Shadow, etc....anything. The BUSA and ZX12/14 isn't even close. That's like comparing a Buggatti(ZX12/14) to a EVO(any liter bike). They serve the purpose they were designed to do. Last I checked the Superbike restriction for 4-cylinder bikes is under 1000cc so it's not like any of these bikes can compete on the road course. Apples & Oranges.....let it go!
  11. Can you tell me 100% for sure that the chassis has no shared components with the current 350/G35 whatsoever? I bet they didn't change that much to make the GT-R work. Besides it's still a V6 so that tells me it's probably the same block or very similar to the current 350/G35 motor. If it's not, big deal it's still a V6! Even then, the 7-speed tranny is all it has going for it....IMO. Otherwise many cars will compete and own that class for well under the $60k+ asking price. Depending what you are planning to use it for I would take a EVO IX MR or C6 long before that and still have money left over AFTER mods.
  12. Maybe with your girlfriend on it...... Busa is 478lbs. (dry) Hopefully the ZX-14 won't disappoint. That way Suzuki will get off there lazy asses and finally do something with the 8-year old BUSA....
  13. Looks pretty nice but anything over $40k isn't worth it for a rebodied 350Z/G35 with Turbo's....IMO!
  14. Rumor is the Vette blew up on the second run. I don't know for sure but that is the rumor on all the other boards it has been posted on. This video has actually been around a week or so....

MSRP for the 05 R6 and 06 R6S is: $8,199 ($8,299 for Raven) MSRP for the 06 is: $9,199 ($9,299 Raven and $9,499 50th) Who the hell pays MSRP for a bike???? You can drive one home Out The Door (Tax, Title, License, etc. included) for under MSRP. If your not, you either aren't haggling enough or aren't shopping around. You don't pay MSRP for a car do you?

You can buy an 06' next Mar for the same price if you shop around. I wouldn't even sweat it, you can always find another if your interested in the above bikes.

  18. In the latest Corvette trader there is a sweet 2002 Red Z06 with 4,000 miles and the Carteck Heads/Cam package asking only $34,000 OBO.
  19. Since the stock speedo is off by about 5-10% from the get go, I wouldn't use the speedo to do the math. I would just go by a $99 GPS from Wal-mart and verify your inputs on the speedohealer/yellowbox and make adjustments accordingly. The reason I say that is because even after you install the speedohealer/yellowbox, your speedo will NEVER be 100% accurate from 0mph all the way to TOPSPEED. Just about any speedo will read faster than you are actually going once over 80-100+ MPH depending on the bike and how you set the box. For instance, I set the box and it's spot on at 70mph but at 160mph it's about 8-10% fast depending on the gearing. If I set it to be correct at 160mph it reads slow by about 8-10% at 70mph. Maybe I'm getting to technical with it but if you want it to read close or spot on at 70 and below, you can do that. Just don't think it's right when your speedo says 170+mph and your not really going that fast.
  20. Not many bikes these days use that old technology, all pretty much have a sensor on the transmission now. Even your bike...
  21. Looks like it has been canceled.... http://vca2.viperclub.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=genvipdis&Number=600293&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1
  22. This is for the Yellowbox---> http://www.blackrobotics.com/yb_home.htm This is for the speedohealer---> http://www.speedohealer.com/eng/intro.htm I have the yellowbox and it's okay but I've heard several people like the speedohealer a lot better.
  23. How does that saying go..."Work smarter NOT harder!" Enjoy the Marines, we have great cable TV!
