  1. I understand the safety but it also keeps a LOT of people away that just want to see what there street car will do. As fast as factory cars are these days that would be like the NHRA requiring a roll cage for anything that runs faster than 15's... :dumb:
  2. It will be called the Fusion in the US... http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/new-ford-mondeo-detroit-2012-1-9 I think it looks pretty good for a Ford! http://www.topgear.com/uk/assets/cms/c8137d75-c554-49d3-b46b-ca5de26e6804/670x377Image.jpg?p=120109_09:33 http://www.topgear.com/uk/assets/cms/2977e3b5-965f-4cb6-a4a1-9500707d043a/670x377Image.jpg?p=120109_09:33 http://www.topgear.com/uk/assets/cms/aca27645-d0e4-4181-b2b3-176e8e7da873/670x377Image.jpg?p=120109_09:33
  3. Wanna dig race? :fuckyeah:
  4. Get a mod to post it up, I'm glad to see RP have so much love on here. We need a BIG change and so far he's the best option I've seen running...
  5. Not sure about OH law but in TX if you qualify with a revolver you can only carry a revolver. If you use a semi you can CCW anything.... Since I'm late to the party I would say P229, XDM, Glock and forget the others. See which one feels/fits the best and try renting them all to shoot (if you can) before purchase. You really can't go wrong with any of those three...
  6. Surprised at the amount of RP fans! Someone start a CR POLL with current candidates and see what the consensus is...
  7. Why can't someone produce a GREAT US based car program. It wouldn't be that hard but then again, someone into cars would actually have to call the shots. These stupid reality/regular BS producers have ZERO idea what makes a great car show...
  8. It looks ok but its a Cady......I don't have anything nice to say so I'll stop... With those options it better not start in the $40k's...
  9. ECTA is a different bunch of guys. You'd be better off trucking down to Texas guys. They talked like they would make an exception for street cars but still haven't budged...
  10. I saw this a few months ago. Nice Mark!
  11. G37 http://images.pictureshunt.com/pics/i/infiniti_g37-6506.jpg
  12. Jaguar XJ http://fancytuning.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/startech-jaguar-xj-2.jpg http://si.wsj.net/public/resources/images/PT-AO538_car2_G_20100430182414.jpg http://blog.jameslist.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Jaguar-XJ75-platinum-car-image-by-Ariel-Adams.jpg
  13. It can be pricey, the trick is doing the work yourself. I did mine for less than your tiles. I love mine but understand your reasons and the ability to take it with you. What kind of box is that?
  14. Is the picture from night or day? Maxima http://www.thetorquereport.com/2009_nissan_maxima_new_4.jpg E350 Coupe http://drivencarreviews.com/wp-content/gallery/mercedes-benz-eclass-coupe/2010_e350_coupe_37_medium.jpg Camry http://pictures.dealer.com/richmondtoyota/661964794046387201fb7565ff96e89c.jpg Just depends if it was a night or day outline you saw. A few look like the drawing at night but not during the day, etc...
  15. Looks great but I would have done the epoxy or a coating over tiles.
  16. Most go to a big single at that level... Yep, AWD setup won't hold near that power level...
  17. FYI...getting out of jail and everything associated is going to cost a lot more than $200 or even $2k...
  18. Dude, that's nothing to race for the weekend... ....you are talking $2k+ for the weekend when its all said and done at the Texas Mile and that may be on the low side depending on your gas, mileage, and vehicle... Typical one pass, street races cost more than that....
  19. As much as I love them..... .....I would NEVER recommend anyone to lease a car. Complete waste of time and money unless its for a business and is 100% written off...
  20. Ya "essentially" there are THREE options like I originally posted but whatever... :dumb: Glad you found a deal and one that you were happy with. I'd be sure to pull up so the sales manager can see it. Nothing feels better than coming in with the car you tried to deal on and they wanted to act like idiots about... LOL...I've dealt with that many times. Try buying a sportbike, its even worse...
  21. I guess those perks just don't matter to me. I take care of my vehicles and 99% of the time, do my own maintenance and upkeep. I don't take the car to the dealer to check tire pressure, oil, whatever that some people do. About the only time I am at a dealer for service is if: a) it has a full service plan or b) its a warranty issue that I have no control over. I'll go for the best price because 99.9% of the time I'll never see them again...EVER! When I was in the military I moved around a lot so a local dealer today won't be my local dealer tomorrow. Its not that I wouldn't return, I probably just won't be in the area again. I applaud you if you are a great salesman and take care of your customers. There are very few of them out there like that. Then again, I don't leave crap in cars or forget stuff that would require those services...lol. j/k Don't be confused, I treat them with respect. I don't walk in and start barking orders and expect stuff for nothing, you've got me wrong if that’s what you think. ...and that's a completely different ball of wax. Truth is, would you still get treated that way if you worked at 7-Eleven? That's the difference between a good/bad dealer. It shouldn't matter WHO you are or how much you pay for them to give you good service. That was my entire point...
  22. How is shopping the market feeding greasy dealers? Going in and paying MSRP or whatever amount you feel is fair doesn't guarantee a GOOD buying experience. So what you are saying is if you pay invoice you aren't entitled to good service? But if you overpay then they are obligated to bend over backwords for you even though these crap dealers won't.... With that in mind, what exactly am I earning by paying you more? You are still making money by selling at invoice. At what point is enough enough to profit? Exactly my point, I don't haggle like a bitch. I know what the car is worth and what I'm paying....PERIOD! Its there right to turn my offer down so I move on... It's also a little different when you are buying an Escalade or Z06 which the dealer makes around $5k (Esca) and $8k (Z06) on each sale NOT including dealer hold back, rebates, incentives, etc. if you pay MSRP. For $13k I'd hope they take care of you. Then again, its a small town dealer and there reputation is all they have when they don't do the volume to make it up. Unless you make more than $200 a minute and don't really care, feel free to pay more...
