Obviously, the guy was in the wrong for vandalizing his car but he didn't really do any damage. Spray paint can be removed in a few minutes and anything worse can be detailed out. Its not like he keyed it or took a bat to the thing... Now the moron assaulting him and causing bodily damage can and probably will get sued. A few hundred bucks to that ugly ass EVO is nothing for what his legal fees are going to be if that guy goes after him...

What's your experience? I'd ask for more than that if you have experience and know your stuff...

The easiest way is to apply for a loan through your credit union, they will give you your score for FREE. Otherwise, the free credit report places only give you the reports NOT the score. You end up having to pay for your score where a bank won't charge you but you'll have to apply which can be a ding against you if you aren't ready to purchase with them....

Are these new or used?

I think they look great and better than the old models. I don't think they are bad for the price/class they are in and would drive it over a Cruze or 200C anyday (those cars are complete JUNK)...

A lot of great choices but it all depends on the car, miles, condition, etc....I'd be damn sure to find a CPO car WITH a warranty for that much money.

Wait, what? What is your goal or plan for the car? What racing do you do if any? Are we talking about a 240? If so, why do you run MT ET streets?

Take a cashiers check to his bank or wire transfer the money while you both sit in the bank office. Once the money clears, you walk away with the car, both sets of keys AND THE TITLE!!! Personally, I am very careful how I complete the transfer. Make sure you type up a "Bill of Sale" with everything you need/want listed on it to protect yourself. If you don't do the sale at a bank, then I would do it at a police station or somewhere you feel safe (if you are traveling to NY) out of town. Sales tax will be whatever price you agreed on and put on the bill of sale. When you come back to OH (or wherever you live) and title/license/register it, you will pay tax on the spot and not until then.

What tires do you run? If you are in fact tracking it, you will probably get more from a better set of tires than brakes or coil overs.....and nitrous shouldn't be considered on your car...

It was only '99 that looked more like a GT (other than front bumper, hood, wheels, tail lights, etc). After everyone complained about previous year COBRA's did they update it just a hair in '01. '01 had a different rear bumper, wing, seats, etc. in addition to everything else. The V6's only got the 99/01 hood in 03 after the redesign for 03/04 when they had all the extra hoods to get rid of. The V6's had the plain V6 fake scoop from 99-02... I understand though, the Termi's look GREAT.....

The '01 said COBRA in the bumper but it's different than the '03 which he has on it. The '99 COBRA just said Mustang like the regular GT's... Looks like we posted at the same time... Bahh...I always liked the looks of the '01's and thought they were unique...

As long as you don't move to Cali, you'll be fine. Plenty of shops that will take care of your needs. Talk to the local Mustang shops and ask who they use...

Who did that? That run was on OEM street tires with stock supsension. Only the blower and power upgrades....NOTHING else... It's the MPH that's more impressive on a completely STOCK engine! Thankyou for the info, I didn't see her again before we left... +1 The Camaro/ZL1 is there market, otherwise what 4-door car does GM have that competes....

To many variables, need to know the state/location you will be moving... A lot of states are getting ride of emissions testing because its a joke and costs more than it helps.

I don't think Ford was out of place with the RAPTOR warranty. The only trucks that have had issues were on that particular run and they have recorded footage of when it happened. Speeds/modified suspension/scenario/etc... It's not like these car won't be modded so people will be at there own risk. I can't blame FORD for that but the pre'13's are holding up to some insane power with factory parts... Have you read any of the literature on it? Ford doesn't claim stuff like that without extensive testing and documented results.... You are correct...
