Unless you are giving your stands to ford5oh for free it does him no good to post your lame argument. He asked about a stand and I gave him a recommened brand and price, you did what to help him.... I already gave a few reasons and so did a few others, apparently you can't read. Then again it's only my opinion like I said initially (IMO). So if I got my bike free does that mean you lose... Your stands seem to have better luck with keeping it up right and on the pavement... j/k You're right billet may help... Which stands are you using by the way...? Looks like a factory Yamaha/Graves on the rear and maybe a DMP on the front...

It all depends on the brand but you are talking $100-200 for a good set, not a big deal like some seam to think. I like Pitbull but Vortex, Redline, and a few others are great. Make sure they are for your bike and have adjustable/fixed brackets. The spring loaded universal ones are junk and so are the short handle handy stand types. If you are just going to use it for winter storage any will work. If you are actually going to use it by yourself with no help at an event you'll see a difference. Not to mention when you are doing quick changes and other stuff they are a little more user friendly and will last longer. I've seen the aluminum ones flex and drop bikes so I prefer the steel made ones. A few other benefits depending on the style you use on the front. Plus they have Pitbull stickers on them which is worth at least 20whp for use squids and the chrome matches my swingarm...

Plan a trip to Vegas Sam. If she's that young you'll have to get it annuled to stay out of jail...

You can get a LOT of nice bikes for $3k. I'd look for a YZF600 or F2/3/4 CBR for that much if it's your first. There is a point where you can get a much better and nicer bike for not much more in that price range.

Okay dude, it's only $150 retail (less if you shop). When you actually use them on a regular basis, not just to clean your wheels you'll see how great the other stands are.... Spools are useless without a stand....

Yep....not to mention the interest rate spikes to 20-29%. If you want to pay $18k for a $9k bike, it's a great deal. It's just another scam they have come up with so you don't have to get full coverage insurance. Since most young buyers can't afford the rates, buying the bike on a credit card voids that requirement. Either pay cash for the bike or go to a credit union and get a proper loan and pay full coverage insurance. That or buy a cheaper used bike.... I get tired of seeing threads on bike sites about how Joe Blow bought a bike on the credit card with liability insurance and the bike is either stolen or crashed and they owe all this money shit out of luck. Then they get pissed at the dealer/manufacture and everyone else for being a dumb-ass. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it. It's pretty sad when people are claiming bankruptcy when they can't handle a $200-month payment.... Sorry end rant...

Most of the good convertable cars launch the roll bars upwards 3-6" when a roll over is detected. It's not much but every bit helps when you flip a convertable. Not to mention your head probably isn't staying straight up, you are probably turned sideways from the force of the roll....

Pit-Bull is the best IMO and can be found new for $150 or less....

Sure if you sign your life away.... Suzuki and many others have the $99-month credit card but it's one of the worste financial decisions you will ever make...
