Got-Boost?

The 99/00 trucks are a different animal so you may be right. However, they are almost 10-years old so anything could be wrong at this point. I've driven several 01's and own a 03 and it has ZERO problem spinning the tires. I wish it didn't, maybe it would have gone low-13's stock...

I'm starting to like them other than the price. Modded or not, that trap sucks for that ET....

Not to discourage you but you are going to have a heck of a hard time finding one that meets those requirements and is a keeper for that price. Also, I would stay away from the 99-00 models and pay more for a 01+ model. The 01+ has a lot of upgrades and is a much better, quicker, and usable truck. 03+ is going to get you the upgraded heads with the plug fix and a few other things. I <3 the sound of Vipers... Now don't get me wrong, there are a few exhaust systems (like most other vehicles) that sounds like complete CRAP and ruin the car. However, with the right system, they sound amazing and like nothing else. That may be why I like it so much, you can't mistake it because it sounds like nothing else...

I've heard of it, just never had the problem. My car was a Dec built 03 with the blue head fixes and I never got that letter... I was thinking it was the first run cars but some 04's had it so who knows...

Never had this happen with any of the COBRA's I owned. Sucks.... Whatever happened to pushing in the clutch....

I've got my dream bike. Now I just need to install more mods and TIME to actually ride it...

You better get to searching on ALL the stang forums to find another deal like that....

+1 INVEST the money.....PERIOD! It's going to cost you way more in the end if you slap a blower or turbo on the stock bottom end. Not to mention a built motor won't leave you much $$$ left for power adders unless you up the spray and how long is that going to last. You are either going to sink $15-20k+ into a $10k car or you could save the money + the money from your next depolyment to set yourself up for life. The more you invest now the better off you'll be at 35, 40, 45, etc...

You're going to need some DR's with that setup and a stock 3.27 gear....
