  1. I saw this a while back. I believe it was a test mule car that was bound for the crusher (he works for Chevy). Why not one last burn out for the show....
  2. Sucks you had so much trouble with the Viper. If only there were some competent Viper dealers/techs in this area that could have taken care of you. Lucky you had a knowledgeable friend at the Chevy dealer, just wish you could have gotten the same treatment from the Dodge side. Best of luck with the new project... :bangbang:
  3. Nice runs Jeff, bring that thing down to Texas...
  4. Damn.... What kind of problems did you have...? Surely it couldn't be worse than the Z getting a new engine with less than 5k-miles...? Hope you have fun with the C6Z though I would have loved to see you build the Viper the same way. 1,000rwhp on PUMP would have been nice...
  5. They just need to restrict tracks that don't have a long enough shut down. No sense in doing it to well build and planned out tracks with more than 1/2-mile shut down + sand pits. As far as safety nets or cables, that is possible. Carriers aren't the only places that have them. They have been on runways all over the world for decades and could be modified to work with Top Fuel. MA1A or BAK12--> http://www.copac.es/direcciones/ANAMA/cables.pdf I've seen aircraft take them at high speeds, no reason a car modified setup couldn't work.
  6. Hand held eTrex at Walmart = $99
  7. I knew you were going to say some lame shit talking out your ass like always... Come do a track day tough guy, you still have no clue who I am or my riding ability...
  8. They are fun and perfect for the Dragon. Great for what they are just no top end...
  9. Under $3k would be okay but why? You can get a lot of clean title, unwrecked bikes for a tad more. I'd pony up the extra for one of those unless you just want a beater to practice stunting on. If that's the case, I'd offer even less...
  10. State Farm is your best bet, Progressive is a complete joke on BUSA rates. A couple other motorcycle only places (I've heard, never used) offer good bike rates but you will have to have excellent specs (no tickets, 700+ credit, MSF-course, etc.). Whatever you do, DO NOT buy it on a credit card and get liability only. I've seen to many people do this and get screwed... (If you are military under the old system you can't beat USAA but if this is your first bike with them, you no longer qualify.)
  11. True but I don't think he's worried about turning with two turbo's hanging off each side.... I don't really understand it since you'd get beat to death by wind doing any form of top speed runs...
  12. I would never buy one but I kind of like the MADMAX look on this one... http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/JBowen4/May408032Large.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/JBowen4/May408027Large.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/JBowen4/May408030Large.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/JBowen4/May408029Large.jpg I don't think looks are on your mind when you have a 500hp bike...
  13. We're moving to Texas in July and just wanted to free up a little extra cash. It's 1-owner (bought new) and well taken care of. Averages 28-30mpg city/hwy if anyone is looking for a great daily driver. Thanks guys...
  14. They are nice cars and pretty rare. I think if you are going to spend that kind of money, the CCX-R is the way to go. The CCX makes 806hp and the CCX-R runs on both but with E85 it makes 1,016hp... http://www.koenigsegg.com/cars_2.html
  15. It's just because the numbers are quoting 636cc and 599cc... With the cc difference (obviously), the ZX6R (636cc) is a little stouter than the ZX6RR (599cc)... http://images.sportrider.com/bikes/146_0408_z+kawasaki_zx_6r_dyno_chart+.jpg
  16. Don't get me wrong, I love the 250 California but IMO no way it's worth $10M...
  17. A certified Viper tech is completely different than just dropping off a regular car at a dealer. It's a different ball of wax when you pull up with that car wanting work done. A regular Dodge dealer won't work. It's needs to be a five star dealer with a recognized Viper tech....
  18. Not to mention they stop better with heat. Once they warm up they normally stop squeaking...
  19. Yes, the 636 wasn't legal in AMA racing so the 600RR took it's place on the track. The 636 was more or less a marketing thing for the street.
  20. Don't need it for a slip-on...
  21. How much do you charge and what all do you do...?
  22. I'd ask this on the Viper boards. Too many horror stories with dealers let alone finding one with a competent Viper tech... If only Woohouse was closer...
