You/we certainly arent helping that innocent kid by rioting, looting, tearing down edifices, erasing history, creating conflict, tax dollars paying for Narcan, being intolerant, letting illegal immigrants spoil her chances of succeeding, electing people that promote divisiveness (see previous POTUS). I understand the skin effect to happen at low frequencies as well (perhaps to a lesser degree), as the conductor heats up, the outside is cooled faster, and the cooler part of the conductor has less resistance.

One more thing...the WR250R has a LOT more power output than the CRF 250.

Regarding the WR250, I just did 1700 miles through Colorado on mine in June. Plenty of power for off road, and will cruise at 60 easily. Pretty lightweight and handles well. She struggled some up the mountains, but the fuel injection did a better job than a carb would have. Pretty happy with the little unit. Just wish i would have spent a bit more on a newer unit...its showing its age and wear.

Caution using solder: There's a reason you dont see solder in most connections on cars/bikes. Actually 3 reasons. 1. High current can cause the solder to melt. 2. Its brittle, and doesn't like a lot of flexing. 3. Manufacturing efficiencies. I suspect your "spider" ground to be a pretty high current point, so a good mechanical connection is likely better. On the other hand, the good thing about solder, it normally increases the contact area by a huge amount.

Pretty happy with my SW Motech EVO city with quick release tank ring.! But they arent cheep!

They brought in the rake angle compared to the vrod, but it still looks to have serious caster. Last time i was in a "chrome castle" (that was funny) I asked the sales monkey which model had the highest lean angle. Wow did I get some head scratching looks!

What happened to the muffler? That's gotta be louder than .....loud! And probably too short of a distance to the valves to allow proper heat dissipation.??

+1 ! Sadly this model was only produced for something like 2 years. Conversely, the current Street Rod looks uncomfortable as all hell, and probably has the performance to match.
