  1. Hard to believe they are hurting, since half the people around here have the bar /shield logo on them or their vehicle somewhere. Wonder how that whole electric bike project (LiveWire) is going for them? Oh...and the statement "5 year old bike is 99% the same as a new one"...a 40 year old bike is 90% the same as a new one is about right too.!
  2. I guess its the super-duke: http://www.ktm.com/globalassets/safety-news/sports-tourer/2017/recall-of-ktm-1290-super-duke-gt-my-2016-2017.pdf and the 690: https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2017/07/07/2016-2017-ktm-690-duke-recall-due-fuel-leak-concerns/
  3. And the KTM super adventure is under recall too....among others.

Pretty much the same , since Ohio was a union state by only ONE vote!
  5. NP...also the OP said he wanted 150+HP....even the speed triple isn't quite there! Personally i think that sort of power to weight has no place on the street, but i guess he did say possible track days.
  6. Better read that again. The UNITS i used were FOOT-POUNDS, not Newton-Meters.
  7. Extremely infrequent failure, and is typically hapening with bikes that are ridden hard off-road. Its the same setup on other, more street-oriented bikes (like the RT), but it aint happening on those.

Well at least he's a patriotic tool....or was it a confederate flag?
  9. This route is going right by my house!....unfortunately the boss said we had other plans! DAMMIT!

Here's one way to deal with that A-hole behind you ...might need to modify your bike though....

I see the truth in this, especially since riding the WR250R. These bikes can also take you on roads where other vehicles are scarce (including cops). However, its also beneficial to be able to pull away from most 4-wheeled behemoths when they are a threat. The throttle of a hi-powered bike can get you into trouble, but can also get you out of trouble just as quickly.

Seems for these "inbreds", running off the road would definitely be the better choice. Preferably into a tree.

Also, how does a sportbike "run" a car /van off the road?

So theyd rather have loud and slow cruisers holding up traffic than sportbikes flying by that dont affect them in the least, other than perhaps being startled.?

Thats the same area where an arrogant POS called 911 on me for passing , and i think it was not a solid yellow line.
  16. Reports say it's very street-friendly....as street friendly as 200hp can be I guess! ;-) Theres also the naked version, or the XR version.

This is where a handful of pennies in your tankbag comes in real handy!!!

True. I'm probably lucky this dooshnozzle didn't try to make contact. He definitely looked like he was "chemically modified". Who was it that was selling a 9mm on here recently??
