  1. Thats Pikes peak.. Colder than hell up there, with 40mph winds. Had to wring the living shit outta the little WR to get it up there!
  2. Just a bit of snow left at 14,000 ft!!
  3. This is why we came to Colorado!
  4. Hays kansas....what a long ass ride!!
  5. Remember the length of the cable is important after the 5 Volt USB conversion. Doesn't take much length to add significant resistance...so buy USB cables as short as possible. The output can be rated 3.1Amps, but if the the resistance downline is hi, the charging current will never approach 3.1A. Connection resistance is a factor to, so maybe some contact cleaner can help.
  6. NOte that most garbage disposals are made at one plant for this country. No need to look at different brands...they are all the same!
  7. You might try one of these: http://www.nojgear.com/mobile/Category.aspx?id=1821
  8. If she "went down", she must have been one of the lesbians, no?
  9. Thanks earache! Been checking Bushducks for pass status. Is there a better resource?
  10. http://www.ien.com/safety/news/20863504/harley-recalls-for-faulty-oil-lines Will they ever stop leaking???
  11. So my buddy and I are trailering our WR250R's to Colorado starting Friday evening 6/9/17. To start, we will be spending 4 days at the MSTA STAR event: http://ridemsta.com/srblog/star-2017/ Then we intend to ride much of the southern portion of the COBDR: http://ridebdr.com/COBDR from north to south and will be camping off the bikes as much as possible. Then somehow find a mosltly unpaved route back to Colorado Springs. It will be a reactionary plan, as some of the passes may still be closed. If many of the passes remain closed, we may head into Utah...we shall see. I intend to use "Bubbler GPS Lite" application to track my position via Spotwalla. I should be able to be followed here: https://spotwalla.com/publicTrips.php?un=qman This a cell phone-based tracking app, so i may not have good coverage in many spots. I have very little off-road experience!...so wish me luck!
  12. according to the Facebook page, it's fully operational! https://www.facebook.com/pg/sistersvilleferrylegacy/about/?ref=page_internal
  13. One of the very few flaws on that bike!
  14. Only the top riders on the top track on the top bikes can achieve this angle. Forecast is optimistic!
  15. Looks like a good start to a game of bike-tag, as they tend to do over at the ADV site. Anyhow...here is a place with an interesting name...near Beverly, Ohio. Along the Muskingum river.
  16. But....this poor fella has to follow a Harley the whole way! Not enuf wind to lift some weight off his hands/arms! Good thing he's a youngster (isn't he?)
  17. Boone sucks...college town with hi prices for a room, and lots of traffic....be warned.
  18. probably true...but the bad thing with Moose is (besides their immense size) their eyes do not reflect your headlight at night, so there is even less warning! The locals say: "if you see a moose, duck"...meaning you might be able to ride completely under one without touching it!!!
  19. Looks like you'll be going really close to the Ben&Jerry's factory..worth a stop for a free sample and tour! Watch out for MOOSE! (dont ride after (or near) dark!)
  20. Similar...started out on a CB700SC Nighthawk S, then vfr, blackbird, R6, FJR, another Vfr, R1200GS, R1200GSA!
  21. AMC....In most circles that's an acronym for "Ain't My Car"!
