I'll normally commute to/from work (about 8 miles) without earplugs because its so short of a trip (about 8 miles, and don't get over 60mph, briefly). I wish I'd put them in every time i do it. Frankly it's downright painful.

Tried the Givi tanklock on my GSA...Wouldnt stay latched. That mounting mechanism is way cheep. Sent it back and ordered the SWMotech setup...SO much more robust mounting system. I like the Givi bags, but that mounting is a joke.

I dont understand why anyone would want anything approaching forward controls. Its not comfortable, its not safe, it doesn't allow you to stand up (see previous 2), it doesnt allow you to weight a peg for cornering, it doesnt allow you to easily move your foot out of the way for cornering (heel hits first). It doesnt allow you to easily slide off the seat for corners. The only reason I can think of to have forward controls is so that your seat can be low. Not a great reason.

Now that we have omnipresent social media, It shouldnt be that hard to simply have everyone, including corporations, to coordinate a simply stop paying taxes month. Get the govt on their knees. THAT would be awesome.

Note that these ~$100 PP/PN are All-Adult resorts. Family resorts can be had for much less (per person). In MB, If you grocery shop and dont leave the condo, then i guess you are gonna have a fairly low cost stay.

We (the wife and I) routinely go to very plush all-inclusives for ~$200 (total, not per person) per night plus air. Hell, we'd drink $200 per night in MB! Of course that's just the two of us, but we're gorging on all sorts of spirits, food, entertainment, and Caribbean blue seas....not cold muddy atlantic surf.

Don't think I'll ever go back to Myrtle, when I can do a Caribbean all-inclusive for less $$. Just keep away from the drug cartels and the incessant sales monkeys.

Selling my 2008 WR. Just under 12000 miles. Pretty much bone stock with the exception of Sandman case saver and sprocket guard, and DRC tail light kit. Engine is bone stock, no changes. I swapped some items from this unit to put on my new WR, so this has a BRAND NEW stock seat and headlight assembly, and front turn signals. Rear wheel bearings ~1500 miles. Front forks rebuilt about 2000 miles ago with higher viscosity fluid. Front and rear EBC brake pads ~1500 miles. DID xring chain and 14/51 sprockets has ~1500 miles. Rear Dunlop 606 is about half, Front Pirelli MT21 has less than 200 miles with heavy duty tubes. I'll throw in some extras, like hand guards, extra stock gas tank if interested, Tail bag, Service manual on CD.
