  1. Impressive, but please don't do it on a public road! Just about ate that white car!
  2. A gravelly rut sent me flying on day 1 of the IDBDR at 45MPH. I dont like them!
  3. Yes...gloves and Jacket liner. I also carry some of those dry chemical hand warmers for inside my boots, if needed.
  4. 174 miles Sunday. 31F when I left home...got up to 43. Beautiful Ohio day. Less bugs, less traffic, less bikes...I like this time of year...except for those rutty deer running all over.
  5. I sit next to a guy at work that eats all the time, and makes a LOT of slurping/mouth open while chewing noises. ...and loves crunchy food, like sourdough pretzels and fritos!
  6. Welcome! Get a Chopper...everyone on this list likes Choppers!
  7. Installed THIS on the R1200GSA. https://www.weisertechnik.com/shop/ultrabrights-extreme-bmw-motorcycle-led-turn-signal-indicators-axhzr-dsc8k Pretty happy with the product. Very clean look for added lighting. Very bright lights. But not cheap. One thing, there's no real waterproof-ness to the lens assembly, so you gotta wonder how this will last through rain and washing. There IS a 4 year warranty. Someday I may order the front kit, that turns your signal indicators into bright white running lights.
  8. How long you gotta be on this list to know that justifying, rationalizing, explaining wont work!
  9. MSGA....Make Speeding Great Again!
  10. Telling them that you thought "78" was the posted speed limit didn't work??
  11. Hey asshole....didnt you read the sign ...no vehicles on the grass!!
  12. check out this Grom adventure! https://advrider.com/index.php?threads/tat-2018-honda-grom-edition.1324638/
  13. No Big Horn Sheep hanging around independence pass? There's usually a flock up there! Also, did you ride the "million Dollar Highway"?

    IDBDR and CDR.

My little WR kept plugging along. What an awesome machine.

    IDBDR and CDR.

Our adventure riding the IDBDR and returning via the CDR is now complete. 15 days and 2838 miles of mostly dirt. Incredible. I'm spent!
  16. Yes, Alaska leather, via Amazon. Looks like a quality piece, but not cheap.
  17. Installed a sheepskin seat cover on the WR for my old tired ass.
  18. Did a Ron Ayres tour to Argentina,Uruguay, and Brazil several years back. Expensive, but worthwhile to have a guide so you can experience the place without concentrating on navigation. And your bike is not overweighted with luggage.
