Truck is down for repairs. Lincoln is down for repairs. ZRX has a flat tire. RT has a flat tire. Day 3 of RS commuting to/from work in the rain has been a treat. My commute time is considerably shorter for some reason.

I think everyone is referring to how ugly your foot skeleton looks up close. #notfappable

Strange things are afoot...

It is if I put an espresso pod in it. 😆

You laugh, but I will only drink that espresso if the press was made from an old Boxer engine. I like my espresso w/ a little extra sludge.

I agree on the analog tachometer. The R shares its dash with the RS. The RT has analog speedo and tach. I also agree about short-shifting. I don't run more the 6-7k when I am really pushing my pace. It's not necessary, and the 1250 is even better. It's faster and more refined at the same time. The power delivery surprised me on Sunday's ride. I think BMW did a great job with this engine. I didn't care for the dash on the 1200, but I never really looked at it when riding other than a quick speed check coming into a town or neighborhood. I try to be respectful to the locals as long as they're not in front of me in a car. The exhaust is a SC Project in titanium and it is not quiet. Louder than the Akrapovic I had on my black 1200. The engine guards are BMW. These were installed when I bought it. I have only installed the windscreen and handlebar. All else is from the previous owner. I think the 1200 engine spoilers are better looking than what I have, but all the other upgrades outshine that preference. The TFT is awesome, updated front end w/ LED headlights, auto-preload/sag adjustment so Jim can shut the fuck up about it already, ABS Pro, better quick shifter compared to pre-2017 boxers, and the engine is night and day. The 1200 isn't slow by any means, but the 1250 is really impressive for a boxer. I thought I could live with just the RT, but I'm excited to be back on the RS. The RT is great in the corners, but lacks that something extra it needs to be exciting. Both scratch the itch, but the RS is the better time. Especially this generation RS. I now know that if I had to live with one bike, it would be the RS and Amanda would be retired from pillion.

I feel like I've been here before... Touring windscreen and handlebar upgrade. Now she's ready to hustle.

Picked up yesterday. Rode 464 miles today. Dipped her wheels in WV twisties, so now she needs a bath and a tetanus shot.

Doubtful. Wanna buy it?

Close. I sold the slightly-less capable R1200RS and have purchased a R1250RS. Notable differences: TFT dash w/ Connectivity, Ride Modes PRO, Cornering ABS, smoother quick shifter, moar HP/torque. @Bubba was right and I knew it all along.

Four, but who’s counting? Not YouTube.

I know a guy, but he is 2 hours from Mansfield. He is the only person I trusted to service my Ducs in the past. He might be available for the right amount of money. What does the dealer charge for this job nowadays, anyway?

Geez... the moose are everywhere. They're even in your belly!!

I was taking that route when you were still riding a Kawasaki. I have the written warnings to prove it. 😆 Side note: NHSP are very polite.

Isaac lives in Dover. Now I have two reasons to make a trip out there this summer.

Forks being refreshed. Tires, front pads, oil change, coolant flush happening this week. Mirror situation was handled first thing. Ordered a new fuel fill cap, too. This one is a little too bedazzled for my archaic sensibilities.

Nah, you got this. Builds character, or whatever.

I sold the Goldwing and brought this sexy thing home. Always loved the looks of these street brawlers. I binned the stem mirrors and am expecting my CRG Blindsight to arrive tomorrow. Ordered new tires and an oil change kit. Suspension refresh happens before I can ride it. The trailer ride home cashed the fork seals. Both sides are pretty wet. Might as well have the shocks worked over while its down. I'm not even going to pretend this bike won't end up with Ohlins everywhere, but if it can wait until the car is paid for... that'd be swell. 😆 Handlebar is probably being replaced with a Renthal Street Bar sometime before the season ends.
